Indeed a messy campaign, it is also very sad to see youngsters mocking seniors cannot stand during MRT trips but can queue for hours on such promo.

Izzit. I think depends on individual. But I heard 8 seems to be worse this year. Originally I was considering if wan jump ship to 8.

If just for local usage, Singtel MVNOs 4G/5G and M1 Maxx S$10 5G plan will be better than Eight 4G and SIMBA. And Eight S$8 4G plan is still a bit better than SIMBA S$12 plan based on my own testing.

On the other hand, SIMBA and Eight have one unique feature among lower cost plans -- free voice roaming. The other plans offering this feature are the expensive Starhub 5G Unlimited+ and 5G Platinum plans.

I am visiting South Fujian, China now. SIMBA S$12 plan is pretty good with 26GB roaming data and free roaming voice.

I have CUniq S$9.9 plan as well. It is not bad with 20 GB China data but no free roaming voice.

I feel that too. Previously Simba signal at my workplace pretty good. But for the past month, the signal is getting worse. Only like 1 to 2 bar signal....

Yup, I've Simba with Eight 5G and at times Maxx. Not uncommon to see Simba with lower signal bar...

But it's good for when I travel, so I can only that local connection will improve somewhat.

Yup, I've Simba with Eight 5G and at times Maxx. Not uncommon to see Simba with lower signal bar...

But it's good for when I travel, so I can only that local connection will improve somewhat.

I'm just waiting to see if the signal gets better after the merger with M1... If still bad, I might consider porting out...
