Golden number also means must subscribe to SIMBA for a minimum of 24 months before porting out. Otherwise will incur extra fees because golden number is "subsidised" by SIMBA.
Costs of their lucky numbers can be as low as what, $10? If need to port out, just have to pay $10 or lesser rather than stay for 2 years.

Inconvenience to me, is having to pay at their Orchard Central counter, having to queue and wait for that, AND when want to port out, still receive a no-use-brain/eyes something to the extend of "please pay the outstanding lucky number penalty" email from them. Got to reply before they'll continue with the process.

Hopefully, Simba can add Japan into APAC roaming. Then it will be good news for those going to JP. I'm heading there soon, but Simba don't have. Luckily, Simba is my spare line, so need a bit data will do. My main line still got 20Gb Japan data

actually i don't get it why they don't allow their own app to do top up promo. no need to let the dealers earn commission, their own service center also won't burst or need additional manpower. only the server limitation but can spread across 24 hrs of x days mah..

Expanding into the heartland requires leveraging dealer networks to extend reach.
For MVNOs, this isn’t optional—it’s a necessary move.
The approach mirrors the prepaid model: same strategy, same outcome.

It makes sense to launch the promotion online, but the company may not be very tech-savvy, or its backend team could be too lean to manage the process smoothly.
