Is it defensible? Do we have force projection? If we buy over Myanmar and China invades Myanmar, how do we send our army over to defend it? Station an army there permanently? What about resupply? You think we can build up Myanmar fully and the world will just watch nicely since it’s gonna be developed and poorly defended? And the local armies will just smile and sing “count on me Singapore “?
