So maybe you can tell me?

let me paste Wiki:
A government bond or sovereign bond is a debt obligation issued by a national government to support government spending.
ok so since you dunno i shall share.

T-bill rate is determined based on Uniform price auction

SSB:

  • Coupon rates for each issuance of Savings Bonds are determined such that the average annual compounded return over an investor’s investment period (e.g. 5 years) is linked to the yield of an SGS of a corresponding tenor (e.g. 5 year SGS bond yield). There may be two exceptions to this:
    • The first exception may arise from time to time if the shape of the SGS yield curve does not allow the interest rates to step-up. An adjustment may be made to ensure that the interest payments do not step down in any year within the life of a particular Savings Bond. This adjustment does not affect the return on the Savings Bond if it is held for the full 10 years.
    • The second exception is due to very small rounding differences of up to +/-0.03% that may arise in the computation of average returns for Savings Bonds.
how is SGS yield determine?....

so MAS don't determine the i/r

you can already project what the following month SSB yield might be based on the formula they have set out that's why some one awesome member created this website to tell people the est.

Because, 900M is not a lot with many Singaporeans can pump 10k.

don’t expect even 10k allocation from now on if the interest keeps rising.

True. Tats why i keep telling edmwers Sporeans are rich. :o Plenty of cars on the road though coe 6 digits. Anyway tats another topic. If every mth same pattern tat means nid to apply next 20 mths. :o

interest rate diff. not surprising or funny what.

SSB from the past can be withdrawn ma.

You might want to hold your horses on guess till the supply for next month is out. as that can change calculation.

possibly because your DCS for CDP not activated? when did your CDP account got set up?

can redeem from any of the 3 banks. but anyway redemption application window not open yet.

so in the SSB portal you sure you looking at the correct place and is 0?
Thank you for your guidance. I checked it and was allotted for application via SRS. Cash application was fully refunded.

Due to the high volume of CDP account applications, please expect a longer processing time of a minimum 10 business days. Thank you for your patience.

Message on CDP website. Haven't looked at this in a while but there seems to be some improvement.

Waited for so long for SSB rates to go to more than 3%. My earliest one was Nov 2015 issue. Going to slowly max till 200k. Hope rates can reach 5%

when there's good (rates) there's also the bad (consequences).

the currency will devalue faster due to inflation if 10-year yield is to climb up to 4%.

sometimes I worry what's the long-term prospects of our standard of living...

but inflation may be caused by other factors such as raw material price, oil price, etc.

SSB rate of at least 3.5% may happen from Dec onward and likely to stay for at least next 6 months. The max allotment, everything else being equal, should be around 10k or less. In a way it’s good, every round try 10k till yield taper or fund exhausted.
