We rescued a strayed sickly kitten and brought it back to healthy cat within a few weeks and now it is our pet. Do you consider our act a sin?

Just wait... Don't just look at the short term shiokness and feeling good because, wow! I rescued a kitten and nursed it into an adult cat!!! One day it will fall sick... Later it'll get old and needed a $35,000 operation or $3,000 per tooth dental surgery and it needed 3 of such... Eventually, those tens to hundreds of thousands will be spent... The cat became old and eventually... died in your hands because cats just don't live 70-80 years like human do... You will repeat that feel good process... Then rescue another, see it dies, rescue another see it dies... Eventually you gave up... Unless you don't really care about pets dying in your hands...

One reason people don't dare to get into relationship because of responsibility. Yet, they don't feel the same responsibility owed to their pets? Why? They don't love them the same as would their babies?

Cannot. The cat does not have an NRIC birth certificate that says you are the father... Your own babies can I think, though they also have their own medisave with money given by Singapore government.

A happy pet normally a happy couple behind it. We treat our pet same way as we treat our spouse. In a bad or abusive marriage, usually their pet also is badly treated as well.

Happy and loving couple is the best, followed by happy singles, followed by lousy married couples.
