There was a notification link in Singlife app last month and I took a look, aka Grow. They are using Aberdeen funds to build the portfolio. Aberdeen is one of their shareholders...

If I remember correctly, wrap fee around 0.2% every quarter.

Looks like now Singlife also roll out roboadviser kind of investment plan. R u guys will go for a try?

how does singlife compare with dash easyearn (etiqa)?

why is singlife preferred, other than the 70c withdrawal charge possible delays in partial withdrawals for dash?

Dash easyearn was 2% now 1.8%

is either of them more reliable? e.g are both sdic PPF Scheme insured?

any hidden clauses their schemes? I suppose etiq/dash should have no issues for full withdrawals as their possible delays only apply to partial withdrawals as stated

if you define reliability as SDIC then yes.

not specific i guess.

i think if u refer to the dasheasy earn T&Cs i think if u surrender in full, they got up to 6 months to refund you. i reckon this is to protect them from cashflow issue, if all surrender at 1 go.

Unless you do something illegal like launder money, Singlife isn't going to take away your capital you know. Worse case they just don't give you the extra 0.5% interest.

Well, they could make things difficult for anyone who tries to "cheat the system".

After opening account it will take close to 10 working days before you can start topping up funds.

I think need to be clearer.

Non guaranteed returns give people the impression that it may go lower than what they advertised.

It’s more like the returns isn’t fixed for a set period.

It can change anytime but they will let you know in advance. Until then it is guaranteed.

I got my account created immediately on the same day I apply via SingPass.

My last doubt is how to close the account if one day I decided to reallocate my fund elsewhere.

For now. I cannot find a place whereby sdic insured and no need do anything still can get 2% for $10k.

Singlife I am your fervent supporter!!
