The official reply from Singlife via whatsapp today:

"Due to the over whelming response your application is currently pending for internal clearance . Please allow us 3-5 working days for your application to be cleared and you will be notified via email once your account is approved .

Thank You for your kind understanding and patience."

Had you use myinfo, they might not need to manually approve?

Only if you keep some balance on the last day of the money, will they deduct a fall below fee. If your account balance is zero, no fall below fee.
That's interesting. Does anybody knows if this applies to DBS Multiplier account only or the normal POSB/DBS Saving Account also same?

Deposited 10k into the account last month, received my interest of $20.xx a few days ago and withdrawing is pretty much instant, quite satisfied but not really sure if they can keep up the 2.5% in the current market so to those who are thinking of signing up, the interest rate is advertised as "up to" meaning it may or may not be 2.5% further down the line albeit i'm pretty sure they will announce it when it fluctuates, it's also covered up to 75k by SDIC in the event that the company goes bankrupt etc so if you are hesitant, feel free to ask one of their agents via live chat on the website to confirm it for urself.

You can withdraw everything at anytime however do not that u need at least $500 in your account to activate the interest rate, it's a pretty good deal as long as the 2.5% stands so I would suggest anyone to get in while it's still hot (after doing your own research ofc, can't be throwing your money in blindly :s13:)

PS: if anyone needs a referral link for free $10 after u sign up for the debit card (it's free) do feel free to PM me

I did actually but the interest of 1% is not consistent and I deposit 500 every month in Singlife. For example, june interest is more than July even thought there's 500 more inside.

Dash EasyEarn is only 2% for first year. Is singlife 2.5% p.a interest for the foreseeable future? I don’t see it mentioned in any fine print

Banks are slashing interest rates for savings acc and fd. I am actually very impressed that Singlife could actually maintain it still despite the gloomy economy outlook

How do you know if your friend used the referral code successfully? Also is the bonus credited instantly or need to wait?

It is only upto 10k, 2.5% is 250 a year, kind of fixed cost, which is not a big deal for them. It is like their marketing cost to onboard customers. People would then keep upto 100k and they will be paid only 1% on the excess above 10k.
