You can deposit just $500 and test withdrawal of $1-$2. It works almost all the time for me (DBS user)

agree that the app is super slow... need to be patient while loading. then the silly thing is because it is so slow, the screen will go into save mode and when you wake it up the app will ask you for password/fingerprint again.

but for 2.5% and 1%... just llst and bear with it (for now).

i opted out of debit card, but one of my family got apply debit card and did not receive...

no leh.. we not really want their debit cards (esp after they only release the referral reward program AFTER we referred 3pax )...

The debit card has two key benefits that I see:

1. No FX fees so you can use it as a multicurrency card like YouTrip or Revolut. The key advantage of this card over YouTrip or Revolut is that the money you top-up is not stuck there; you can withdraw it back to your bank account.

2. The unemployment insurance which is 3 months of your average spend on the card for the past 6 months. I don't think it's attractive enough to forego cashback on my credit cards for it, but someone might.
