The debit card has two key benefits that I see:

1. No FX fees so you can use it as a multicurrency card like YouTrip or Revolut. The key advantage of this card over YouTrip or Revolut is that the money you top-up is not stuck there; you can withdraw it back to your bank account.

2. The unemployment insurance which is 3 months of your average spend on the card for the past 6 months. I don't think it's attractive enough to forego cashback on my credit cards for it, but someone might.

I think YouTrip is slightly better overall but the downside to YouTrip is the money stuck there; you must spend it otherwise it's just stuck there.

i opted out of debit card, but one of my family got apply debit card and did not receive...

applied and didn't receive ? should contact Singlife liao.

My referee just received debit card, less than 2wks after application.
Now waiting for $10

I think now is the best time to sign up actually before it drops.

This is very liquid and you can withdraw anytime (with FAST transfer) should the interest rates drop

So far my experience has been between 5-20 min for it to go to my posb account.
