apparently, u can see the interest rate payable on the App the next day on a daily basis ...

crediting is monthly ...

i think 2.5% will b given in the short term, when there is sufficient accounts, this is unlikely to continue in current environment

When they said that the crediting rates are not guaranteed, what does that mean? Does that mean that they can change the rate at any time but you would otherwise be entitled to 2.5% until further notice? Or does it mean your daily interest could fluctuate between 0% to 2.5% p.a.?

I already applied. But on second look of the T&C don't think it makes much sense.

1. To get a "savings" account, you need to apply for a debit visa. Any fraudulent transaction doesn't seem to be managed by anyone so huge risk here.

2. No real guaranteed interest. Not even on the T&C.

3. Till now no one knows how to withdraw.

Huge risk in everyway. I'm hungry for return, but will pass.

Card is optional though.

Withdrawal is pretty straightforward in the app.

Perhaps the only risk is not guaranteed.

I just withdrew and waited 5 mins, still not received the fund. Doesn’t look like it is FAST.

This account is actually an insurance. Anywhere stated the premium?

This looks more like saving than insurance. You can put in any money anytime you want and withdraw any money anytime you want. Interest is accrued daily.

The sum assured is the money you save + extra 5%.

“The interest earned will be calculated based on Your daily Account Value and will be credited on the first day of the following Policy Month. The crediting rates will be declared as annual rates and will be converted to daily rates on a compound basis assuming 365.25 days per year.”

I have a Singlife account, which username is alphanumeric. However, when prompted to download the app, I was requested to input my mobile number instead follows by my password.

But it keeps failing to login which eventually got my account locked.

Anyone facing a problem like mine?

How do you get to choose your username ?

Mine was auto configured to be +65 followed by mobile number.

Perhaps you need to add in +65 before your mobile.

It is 2.5% now and they can change anytime they want. But there is no lock-in period so you are free to transfer out anytime if you are not happy with the interest rate
