1) It depend on your account opening date. My account was opened on 9th of the month, interest is added to the balance on the 9th.

2) You can withdraw the interest once it is added to your account.

Based on account opening date and not the date the funds were placed?

If I open account today and put in funds 10 days later, interest starts on the day I opened my account.....that's what you are saying?

Tried to apply and saw this in one of the docs.

Current Crediting Rate Up to 2.50% p.a.
Guaranteed Crediting Rate 0.00% p.a.

Did anyone see the validity of the "current crediting rate", i.e. how long will it last?

I might be wrong, but to me it looks like it's based on the day the account is officially funded. I opened an account on 26 May, I funded it on 9 June, until today the interest hasnt been credited yet to my account. If I'm right, it should be credited tomorrow.

This is an insurance savings account. The interest is credited based on policy month and not calendar month. If u have opened an account and not funded, there is no policy to begin with, how to start the counter?
