Again knew this will happen, lucky I withdraw all my monies and forgo one night of sleep last week. You guys just have to wait for tomorrow 930am for them to support you.
Nah didn't lose one bit of sleep. I saw the zero balance, laughed a bit and used it to scare some of my more insecure friends (OMGWTFBBQ Singlife ran away with our moneyyyyy).
Seriously, have a bit of faith in MAS and SDIC. Someone at Singlife is gonna get grilled for this fiasco though.
Just now it happened again. My earlier deposit went "missing". The one after show up but not the earlier one. Tomorrow will have to go to n fro with them again.
Agree I'm not too worried but surely waste of time to have to monitor closely and also to and fro.
Hope Singlife can improve their system lor

You can calculate how much 0.5% on $10K is worth and decide if that beats your typical cashback credit card.![]()

oh I was looking at both of them too!anyone bought both singlife and gigantiq? can do a comparison on which is better?![]()

so what. u guys apply the debit card for 0.5%?????
Use Shopee for topping up, 10% discount and counts as online spending. Can top up pre-paid card, which is not eligible for most cashback cards.
should change title. if not deceiving.Singlife account, despite the name, is an insurance policy. This was clear from the policy description you all must have read before signing up.
The fact that this particular policy has features to make it look more like an account does not make it a bank account. So don't use it as if it was a bank account, expecting the level of reliability and speed that is guaranteed by banks for normal bank accounts (for example instant FAST transfer).
Just lower your expectations, and everything is fine. It's just a very liquid insurance product compared with other insurance products. That's the appropriate comparison basis.
If not happy, you can even cancel anytime and get all back without penalty, that's awesome for an insurance product (since usually cannot cancel insurance product without losing something in the process).
True, didn't notice that the hwz topic title was wrong.should change title. if not deceiving.
