Does anybody know if i use the Singlife debit card to spend a 1 time lump sum $500+ by e.g. 25 Sep,
will i earn the 0.5% bonus interest for the 1st 10k deposit starting from 25 Sep or for the full month ?
the $500 spending is to unlock the extra interest for the next period's (based on monthly anniversary date)

Most of you guys still putting 10k here for 1% interest? Not sure if it is time for me to move it to a better instrument. Any recommendations?

isn't about what people do. so about whether you have an alternative where you are comfortable with the associated "cons" vis-a-vis singlife

Better or not will depend on:
1. How much you need to park
2. How much liquidity you need
3. How much risk you willing to take
4. How many special conditions you willing/able to fulfill

What’s that?
Sorry that does not make myself clear enough. I mean what is the SingLife account rate now? It seems that they have cut the rate quite a bit, I checked my account found the interest almost reduce by half compare Aug 2021 with Jan 2021.

Think you have not been keeping track of your finances for a while. It's good to be wary what's going on with your money, given the lowering of rates by FIs/banks in recent times are more common now.

There's 2 announcement they made of the lowering of rates. These are also informed via emails to account holders. once in Jan, once in jul.
