Singpass App on Custom ROMs

Custom ROM A13, no XPosed/LSPosed
Citibank works too
Based on XDA thread:
(I unhid TJW Magisk app, didn't do anything else.)
Then installed Magisk Delta APK. Then used it to Direct Install Magisk, though it said addon.d had some issue.
After reboot, removed TJW Magisk.
Added relevant apps to MagiskHide hidelist. All my modules, including Shamiko and USF MOD 1.2, are working. MagiskHide is not enabled, Shamiko is doing the job instead.

To resolve the addon.d issue I did a second Direct Install.

Does this works with Singpass v19.0.1?

So annoying that Singpass enforce this root checking. I got Shamiko 0.7.3 and USF MOD 1.2, MagiskHide and its Singpass still redirect me to the "protect your data" page. I do not have any Xpose module. I'm on Google Pixel phone Android 13.

I need Shamiko and USF MOD 1.2 for GPay and other banking stuff.

Yea it does.
Using it to view my e-poll card.

USF MOD is at v2.0 already.

Realized I mixed up with MagiskHide with Zygisk/DenyList. I do not have MagiskHide. How do I use that? I follow the guide it says temporary enable Zygisk and tick on apps in DenyList, then turn off. Ensure MagiskHide module installed and it should be working in logs.

But in my logs it seems not working. Shamiko and USF MOD does not active without Zygisk

If you want Singpass to work, you need to abandon classic Magisk by Topjohnwu. Install Magisk Delta by Husky.
Zygisk has to be on for Shamiko and USF MOD to work, Shamiko has to be on. Add the usual troublesome apps to the Denylist/Unmount list as usual.
Do not turn on MagiskHide as you want Shamiko to work, not MagiskHide. One or the other.
If you don't want to use Zygisk, then you need to install Riru (through LSposed I think), there is a Riru version of USF MOD 1.3.

Singpass 19 works perfectly fine.

oh oh, I get you now! I manage to get it work. I uninstalled the MagiskHide module as its not needed now. I only kept Shamiko and safety-net MOD 2.0

First install custom ROM of your choice and then try SP works fine. Then root it . If the custom ROM support SP out of box then only proceed next. Which is your device ?

Custom ROM devices are more secured as its open source and when release it they patch with monthly security updates. Not sure how long people have to wait for security update and after 2 years not available and they carry device without latest security updates.
These people are not bothered about those security concern and after people like us who are rooting their phone ??? If i am able to use some device which came with android 9 and now on A13 is because of the huge community supporting the device and keep our device updated and secured.

When Topjohnwu moved to another side, already predicted the future of Magisk wasn't bright.

My device is different. But i have tried pixel experience plus just out of the popularity but not a fan of pixel ROM. When i tried PE+ ROM SP worked fine. i like AOSP.

What i would recommend is to take a full backup. And clean install the ROM. Without rooting install SP and see if it works ? Don't install another app. If SP works try the above mentioned Delta magisk and Shamiko and see if SP works ? Then restore the app using the swiftback. do also take a swiftback before clean install.

I had phobia to update Singpass since 16.2. Took a complete backup, then update from Singpass 19.0.1 to 19.0.2. So far its working as intended. Do not trust me though, do a backup before upgrading Singpass, ALWAYS!

Offtopic: How's the new SwiftBackup? Is it on-par with TitaniumBackup?

I tried lineage 20 (clean install) for K30 Pro and not working even not rooted, it seems they check the ROM in the first place before checking the root status. Would the Magisk Delta + Shamiko + USF Mod works for this case?

already flashed pixel experience (PE) after knowing SP not working with lineage. That time i have no idea about magisk delta.

tried with magisk delta+shamiko+USF mod with PE, not able to pass as well. Not sure if i missed certain steps or incorrect steps applied. So back to non-root PE

The reason is I can switch between different Android version with data and it's available in playstore. Even alphabavkup also not

Btw, any recommended guides / article to show the full steps that we could follow for the magisk delta+Shamiko? Went through few, so don't think i miss anything. Wondering why not working for my set.
