2025 quick root guide using KSU, too bad for apatch or magisk, I don't use them
  1. Flash custom roms that does not have fancy builtin spoof features, those are better handled by root modules itself
  2. Flash kernel containing KernelSU Next with SUSFS, if not then either KernelSU or KernelSU Next
  3. Install KSU apk or KSU Next apk, depending on what KSU you installed
  4. Install zygisk next
  5. Install lsposed, current maintainer
  6. Install Hide My Applist, check Action for unreleased latest build
  7. If you did not install kernelsu next with SUSFS, install shamiko
  8. install zygisk detach
  9. Grant root permission to Hide My Appllist
  10. Setup hide my applist, accessible via "Lsposed" in KSU app.
    1. Enable "Hide my Applist"
    2. Select the "Recommended" app on the list
    3. Press the "Gear" which is "Setting"
    4. Create a blacklist template
    5. Add all 3rd party apps aka apps not installed via google store into the list. There are 3rd party installed apps that can be found in google store and the google store do (annoyingly) recognize them, you don't have add them into the list but if you don't know, just add them all.
    6. In "App Manage", you can add sensitive apps like singpass, ocbc etc. then finally just choose that template.
  11. Disable auto update for some apps, so you won't get unpleasant root detected surprises
    1. Open the menu of "Zygisk Detach" in KSU app
    2. Search for "sg.ndi.sp" which is singpass
    3. All other bank apps uses more recognizable package name so just search keyword like ocbc, paylah etc.
    4. You can also add your 3rd party installed app which has google store equivalent here, so it doesn't get replaced by censored version or older version when google does it "update"
As of writing, 6-Apr-2025, paylah uses annoying Zimperium new detection which Shamiko is not updated to hide what it is detecting. Worries not, back to old school workaround.
  1. Install App Manager
  2. Grant root to App Manager
  3. In App Manager, look for paylah
  4. Under "Providers", disable "Jesus"
  5. Apply rules
  6. Force stop paylah if running
  7. Run it. Happy!

Also, apparently singpass has contacted all the mirror apk sites to get them to remove singpass, so you need to make your own backup of old singpass apk should you want to update to newer singpass. You can use "Swift Backup".

For me, I use Hide My Applist to create another template to disable auto update Singpass app (select Singpass app in 10.5 and select Google Play Store in 10.6 above). It's a bit troublesome that I need to unhide when I need to update Singpass (when forced to do so), it it easier when using zygisk detach?

DBS app starts doing the same thing a while ago. I use this LSPosed module to hide developer status https://github.com/xfqwdsj/IAmNotADeveloper

zygisk detach is better. it basically makes the playstore think the app is not installed thus will not be updated

Hey so I saw this thread, well I decided to try LineageOS 22.2 it is really good, I did not flash gapps as I use Aurora Store, everything works even my Bank App, Telegram, Grab etc but the only app that isn't working is Singpass, the one and only app, I don't want to Root and I think there is nothing wrong with running custom rom, It did improve my battery usage better then stock and phone is less cool too. Also I think it is user choice but why is it Singpass is restricting so much

Ocbc works fine on my set up. The only failing is SC.

Edit: I figured out. It turns out that they added usb debugging detection. Sc works now after switching that off

Having trouble with SC app since Dec 2024. Used unofficial lineage21.0 (Android 13) and magisk 29 (SC app in Zygist) on Samsung.

SC app worked until Dec 2024 update, and then I have not been able to launch SC app. The app will shut down and throw me an RASP warning - error code #1001.

Anyone can help? Noob here.

How did you find out what triggered the SC app?

I installed SC app for fun and I get error #1002.
Can't they just say what's the issue instead of the error code? Scared of bypass?

How about DBS app & Singpass app? If those can pass then OCBC app has no issue also. At least for me.
