New offer (existing 1G) to recon to 10G

10Gbps Enhanced Plan at $62/mth
(U.P. $139/mth, 24-month contract )

Cost saving method as this is only comes with WiFi 6 device. BE22000 adds another 16.80/month

Interesting.

New user is at S$60 per month but I do not see the mentioning of 50% off TP-Link HB810 BE22000 WiFi 7 Router.

10Gbps Enhanced (WiFi 6) at $60/mth (U.P $139/mth)
Comes with XGS-PON Optical Network Router + 1 unit of Singtel AX5400 device

Looks like the same offer for recontract compared to new user. Let's see if there will be similar recontract offer for the new 5Gbps plan. I guess one can always contact Singapore and then ask for the same offer as new users.

Take note all the following plans come with XGS-PON ONR. And as of now Singtel does not support the bridging of the ONR.

Recontract for 10Gbps -- existing Singtel user
10Gbps Enhanced Plan at $62/mth (U.P. $139/mth, 24-month contract)
Comes with XGS-PON Optical Network Router + 1 unit of Singtel AX5400 device
Add an additional TP-Link BE22000 (WiFi 7) Device at $16.80/mth.

Comparison with new users:

<limited exclusive offer> 1Gbps (WiFi 5) (Triple Pack) Fibre plan at $39.48/mth (U.P. $66.12/mth)
Comes with 1 unit of Dual-band AC Access Point (WiFi 5) and a pair of Mesh Extenders (WiFi 5)

2Gbps Enhanced Plan at $40.90/mth (U.P. $55.90/mth)
Comes with 1 unit of AX5400 device (WiFi 6)

2Gbps Mesh at $47.26/mth (U.P. $74.26/mth)
Comes with 2 units of AX5400 Mesh Extenders (WiFi 6)

5Gbps Enhanced Plan with WiFi 6 Router at $49.90/mth (U.P. $95.90/mth)
Comes with XGS-PON Optical Network Router + 1 unit of Singtel AX5400 device

just tested with XGSPON bridged ONT, singtel 1gbps plan can run until 1.2gpbs down and 1.1gbps up https://www.speedtest.net/result/16279150516
wonder can use how long before singtel bans me

Hmm, interesting. Which XGS-PON ONT are you using to replace Singtel ONT/ONR? Thanks.

There are a few people who have used GPON Stick or ONU to replace Singtel ONR.

For those who are still using the older Singtel AC Plus, Singtel Mesh Router and Singtel Mesh Extender, or the Airties 4960R, you may want to take note the support will end in Nov 2024. If you recontract, you may get a new router which will be supported until 2026, like RT-5703W or WG660242-ST. Or you can get your own wireless router.

Just a generic huawei optistar SFP+ stick. Running in legacy mode coz my house still is normal GPON network 🤡. I am curious if their 10gbps plans will throttle and their oversea routing, esp to china and USA. Later the 10gbps speed only can use in SG also no use loll...

anyone with 1gbps ONT that recently recontracted to their new 2Gbps Enhanced Plan at $40.90/mth (U.P. $55.90/mth), Comes with 1 unit of AX5400 device (WiFi 6).

May i check if we retain our ONT or will need to be issued their new ONR?

currently ONT paired with their AC Elite (AC1900) Router.

not running any special setup, not sure if any impact if they require me to switch to ONR.

Anyone took up their 2gbps enhanced plan.
Come with free house line, SIM card & several 3mths free subscription that is of no interest to me.

Is it possible to maintain the $40.90/mth subscription by not activating the freebies.

You will need to chanage to ONR.
Since you are using the Singtel ONT with the ancient Singtel AC Elite, you do not really need to worry about the ONR.

Singtel ONT + good 3rd party router >> Singtel ONR + Singtel issued AX5400 router >> Singtel ONT + Singtel issued ancient router like AC Elite or AC Plue

Unlikely you can get the 2Gbps plan at S$40.90 per month subsciption price, but you can always try your luck and negotiate with Singtel using your negotiation power.

Are you using Singtel ONT + your own good router like Asus? If that is the case, going to 2Gbps is a DOWNGRADE to me because of the ONR.

If you are already using Singtel ONR (unbridged) or using Singtel ONT + Singtel issued router, then you can consider the 2Gbps plan as an upgrade.

ONT vs ONR: average users may not need to worry too much about ONR.
