may i please confirm:

does the Singtel ZTE F8648P ONR support Port Forwarding by default, or do we have to login using the "support" account?

It is available on the "root" account as well.

As per previous report by the user (BlonkBloink) who got Nokia ONR from Singtel, it is easy to bridge the Nokia ONR.

Let's wait for more reports.

Singtel offered me free 2gbps for 2 years as long as I stay with Singtel TV.
Now to figure out if Nokia G240 can be bridged, but I scared they raise the price of my Singtel TV by $40 bucks after I sign this 2yrs free Internet :ROFLMAO:

I got my SingTel 5Gbps upgraded yesterday.

I am using the default setup by SingTel.

ZTE F8648P ONR 10Gbps LAN 5 connected to TP-Link HB810 10 Gbps WAN port, running in AP mode.
TP-Link 10 Gbps LAN port connected to my PC with OEM Intel X540-AT2 which i got cheap from AliExpress. I read on Reddit some users experienced users with these "fake" cards, but it works fine for me. No heat issues encountered either.
ONR's port forwarding enabled for my PC's LAN IP, for the ports which i require to be accessible on the internet, mainly for my work. https://canyouseeme.org/ tested and port is accessible. I was able to do this with the default "root" account, and didn't need to use the "support" account. Though i tested "support" with the password reversed, and i am able to login and see more options in the ONR web interface.

Note: I asked the field technician nicely if he can bridge the ONR, or just the LAN5 on the ONR for me. He said he does even know what i am talking about. He does not even know what is Port Forwarding and told me to call 1688 so they can do it on the back-end for me. I logged in to the ONR and showed it to him. He said "wah you more expert than me" :oops:

Using the TP-Link built in SpeedTest, i can get close to 5Gbps download and upload on SingTel's server.

Using the Windows Store SpeedTest app, i can get 5.5Gbps down, and close to 5Gbps up. For the up, i can't seem to hit more than 5Gbps, nor am i expecting to.

Using a web browser, i can get close to 5Gbps on both down and up. Note: Chromium based browsers like Chrome or Edge seem to achieve better results than Firefox.

I will monitor and use this current setup for the moment as it suits my needs. When i get more time or feel more adventurous, i will try bridging LAN5 on the ONR.

Note: i upgraded from a SingTel 1Gbps plan. The technician said i do not need to return the ONT or the power adapter. He told me to throw them away.

I am aware of the IPv6 6rd settings for SingTel:
https://ryanwoon.wordpress.com/singtel-ipv6-settings/

Connection type : Tunnel 6rd
DHCP Option : Disable
IPv6 Prefix : 2400:d803::
IPv6 Prefix Length : 32
IPv4 Border Router : 202.166.127.6 (6rd.singnet.com.sg)
IPv4 Router Mask Length : 0
Tunnel MTU : 0
Tunnel TTL : 255
IPv6 DNS Server 1 : 2400:d800::1
IPv6 DNS Server 2 : 2400:d800::2
IPv6 DNS Server 3 : 2001:4860:4860::8888
Enable Router Advertisement : Enable

But could someone share the IPv6 settings for the ZTE F8648P ONR? The configuration seems slightly different, and i do not wish to mess it up.

On the top click on the [Internet] tab
On the left click on [WAN]
Click on the [6RD] tab.
New Item
Connection Name: Any name
WAN Connection: Auto or Manual?
MTU: 1380 by default. Do i set it to 0 as above?
6rd Configuration: Static
6rd prefix: i see a field, followed by a slash. Do i enter 2400:d803:: and leave the / field empty?
IPv4 Mask Length: 0
6rd Border Relay Address: 202.166.127.6

You may want to go to this thread to discuss. Please read all the posts to see how I am lucky and get the native IPv6 working. YMMV.

I could not get 5rd to work on the ONR. Others seem to be able get it working. You can try it. However, 6rd on the Singtel ONR is dead-end as per the report as the performance is bad.

You should try your luck on native IPv6, which can be a long and painful process as you need to talk to Singtel to get it. And you may not get it in the end since it is not fully deployed.

You may also try to bridge the ONR and then try to configure native IPv6 on your own router, if that does not work, then try 6rd. 6rd on your own more powerful router should perform reasonably well.

Just sharing: if i use a 5 Gbps PCIe Realtek RTL8126 chipset NIC, Windows shows the connection as 5Gbps. But I can only achieve around 3Gbps speed download and uploaded on speedtest.net. I am not sure if this is the limitation on my motherboard's PCIe slot, e.g. insufficient PCIe lanes (it is a PCIe 3.0 x1 slot) or the chipset itself. But this is not important, i can use the Intel 10Gbps NIC.

*Update: i moved the Realtek from the PCIe x1 slot to the motherboard's second PCIe x16 slot (which will run in 8x mode as the GPU is already connected) - it made no difference.
On the same PCIe slot, with the OEM Intel X540-AT2 connected, i could achieve the full 5Gbps speed.
My suspicion is that the RTL8126 chipset may have some limitation, though i read online that some people are able to achieve 5Gbps with it.

PCI-E x 1 is okay, but the chipset may not be very good under Windows. It is a bit better under Linux.

I have done similar test with the IOcrest 5Gbe PCI-E card myself with my Ryzen 5 5600G desktop.

You may refer to the following thread for more options, if you have PCI-E x 4 slot or better.
https://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/threads/5gbe-and-beyond-ethernet-adapters.7068236

If you only have PCI-E x 1 slot, I guess you do not have many choices now.

What kind of speed did you achieve under Windows or Linux?
I am using the same IOCrest card.

My fiber point and ONR and AP are located at opposite corner of the house from TV. I have 1 lan cable to link up the ONR to the TV box.

Last night I tried to add another AP next to my TV. Connected the LAN cable to the new AP and connected the TV box to the new AP.

It didn't work ! TV refuse to connect !! Help!! How how ??

PCI-E slot is not the issue, the chipset is a x 1 chipset so it will not help you to move to x16 slot.

Rather you can get better NICs based on Intel X540 or X550 chipset if you use the x16 slot. These chipsets use PCI-E x 4.
