I;m on the old flex plan... now that they have changed to combo.. I consider whether to upgrade or not as consider heavy user for data due to ipad sharing this data plan for 12GB... it is worth to re contract with phone purchase.:s22: Voice call more have no merit after all...
if u need 12gb or >7gb, I think the answer is obvious.

The new plan is to increase revenue with lower value packages. Some people think the new package is good? Give up!

Hmmm...... looks like m1 plans are more attractive than singtel, oh well not that it makes any difference since they are all own by temasek.:s8:

https://www.m1.com.sg/personal/mobile/plans
Who cares who they are owned by, if M1 is cheaper than the other two, then M1 is whom you should use price wise.

If company A, B and C are owned by entity Z, but A offers 40/mth and B, C offers $42/mth, then A is who you should go with, other factors notwithstanding.

You do realised that the current situation most of us had our 12gb data plans reduced to 2gb once we recontract is caused by company a,b & c owned by z notwithstanding the recent price hike from the $39.90 plan being increased to >$40 plans by all 3 companies again. Logically speaking if these 3 comps were owned independently a price war would usually start with each of these companies giving different price/data plans and not reducing the 12gb data plan to a 2gb data plan or increasing price plans simultanously.

Err, I was arguing that whether or not all three were owned by the same company or not should be a factor at all and result in you picking a slightly more expensive per month plan over the cheaper one.

It has nothing to do with the overall picture of all three reducing data and hiking prices together. You can't do anything about that, you can however choose the one that is charging a few dollars less per month.

this above look like is corporate price, normal price even higher.
1GB less for data, charge for caller ID and roaming.
I will go for M1 when iphone6+ is available and forget about singtel.

imho, it is better to switch to other telcos than stick to singtel.
singtel's earning from overseas is dropping, hence they are looking for ways to milk the consumers from singapore.

And nobody is gonna camp at the crowded mrt stations to use wifi anyway.

Hi, anyone knows if corporate plan for combo 2 has free caller id and additional 1gb data?

Seems like m1 plan by default already has 3gb
