Singtel’s eSIM activation process website quite c0rk up. I followed their process but the results don’t match the ones stated in the instructions. Luckily it all worked out in the end without the need to call their CS.

Actually in the states or some other countries is free and use the internal android and iPhone eSIM transfer feature, as for SG our greedy telco still charge eSIM QR and caller ID in year 2024, it’s all about the money.

Anybody currently using eSim from Singtel? Any issue?

I tried Gomo Esim before and it was a little unstable. Throughout the 1 month with them, I had to restart my phone multiple times even though the signal was showing full bar 5G. There was no internet connection, toggling the data on/off and doesn't work, have to restart my Samsuck S22.

Switched back to SIM card with Eight and so far so good, no such issue. Going to change phone soon so better use physical SIM. If traveling then can use eSIM for the country I am traveling to, no issues.

the eSIM can only be used once, change phone need to request for a new eSIM to scan.

any mvno that does not charge for e-sim install on spare phone? physical sim still better, can swap in and out anytime you like, foc.

Eight. Note you can only install esim on 1 phone at a time. U cannot install esim on your main phone and spare phone.
