Didn't call singtel, but in the aztech dsl7000grv singtel admin page, the details for ipv6 support are already filled in under IP Tunnel. Didn't fill it in myself. Disabled by default though. Enabling it makes opening sites take quite long, so I disabled it again.
Same issue with Aztech 7003 router. But it is affecting LAN connection only.

I called Singtel to enable ipv6, but connection seems ok, although not significantly fast. How do I compare it?

Called SingTel for the (official) configuration settings to enable IPv6 for the Asus RT-AC87U and they gave crap reasons that they are unable to do so as I am using 3rd party router instead of the Pace router which they've given to me previously.

Settings are available in one of the Singtel threads. You just need to search for them

I don't know what's going on at Singtel side.

My router is no longer getting IPv6 addresses. Router GUI shows nothing.

Maybe they have stopped their guinea pig testing on us or it could have been Windows update on their IPv6 software/drivers.

I've got the settings from this very thread itself, but was hoping for some official configurations coming from SingTel itself to see if there is any differences.

Using FG7003GRV router/modem.

Under the IP6 6rd, it is put as "Disabled". Check the admin page, but can't enable it remotely.

are you really sure you want to enable IPv6? I can assure you that your speed will be much lower than your subscribed speed at the moment for residential use..

Technically, v6 or not, there should be little difference for most of the Internet, since they are mostly on v4.

However, if the ISP screws up the v6, then your reachability to v6-enabled sites (Facebook, YouTube, Google, ...) may be problematic. I had frequent problems with StarHub in the past, and it was really tiring trying to get their tech support to understand.

Just for information.

I have a 7000 Singtel Router.(200/100)

It support Ipv6. Windows 7 and 8 works and can receive IPv6 LAN IP.

Sometimes for some strange reasons Windows may fail to receive the IPv6 LAN IP.

So far, I have not found any reason for this failure that might be due to the Aztech Router.

The cause was from Windows 7 and 8, not Router or SingTel. Means, the Router can receive WAN IPv6 address but Windows cannot receive IPv6 LAN address.

If you use a Router with WIFI that does not support IPv6, than it will not work. (my old WIFI router as a Repeater does not support IPv6).

ipv6 and singteltv

First, thanks to all the bro's who posted how to configure IPv6 with Singtel.
These days, I am using this config on a Asus RT-N66U.

Connection Type: Tunnel 6rd
DHCP Option: Enable
Tunnel MTU: 1280 (default is 0, don't think this makes a diff)
Tunnel TTL: 255 (default)
IPv6 DNS1: 2400:d800::1 (Singtel IPv6 DNS)
IPv6 DNS2: 2001:4860:4860::8888 (Google DNS 1)
IPv6 DNS3: 2001:4860:4860::8844 (Google DNS 2)
Enable router advertisement: Enable

With these settings, it passes all the test-ipv6.com tests, with flying colors.
Only 1 thing... sometimes I come across sites that don't work with 6rd, like singteltv.com (!!!). No matter what, the site URL just doesn't get recognized. Singtel is blur about it. Maybe they will fix it... someday... Let me know if you are running 6rd and can get to that site.

Meanwhile, keep on IPv6'ing!
One day soon, v4 will be a think of the past, like Tamagotchis and Knight Rider.
