Nice. Thanks for creating this thread.

Edit to add on 23-Dec-2025.
Please reserve this thread for singtel hi 4G postpaid plans (including heya migration)
.
Singtel hi! 4G post paid plans (S$12/S$10 hi! Monthly Plan and S$5 hi! Senior Monthly Plan) --> Singtel hi!App

Singtel S$15 hi! 5G+ Plan -->Singtel Prepaid hi!App.
For the S$15 hi! 5G+ Plan, that is a prepaid plan, please use the prepaid thread for the discussion.

Singel now has three apps for mobile service users.

1) MySingtel app --> Normal Singtel services, including Fibre Broad Band, Singtel Mobile (with devices or SIM Only), Singtel TV, etc.

2) Singtel hi! Prepaid app --> for the traditional Singtel prepaid services

https://www.singtel.com/personal/terms/prepaid-mobile-terms

3) new Singtel hi! app --> for the new Singtel hi! SIM Only plan.

Singtel website of hi! actually contains Postpaid plan and Prepaid plans, kind of confusing.
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/hi

In the bottom of the page, they mention of the following two sentences.

1) For $12 and $5 hi! Plan terms and conditions, click here.

The first "here" refers to:
https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/hi/hi-terms-and-conditions

Specific Terms and Conditions for “Singtel hi!”

A. Base Plan and Singtel hi! Plan
1. Singtel hi! is a postpaid SIM only mobile plan provided by Singtel Mobile. Your activation and continued use of Singtel hi! constitutes acceptance of our terms and conditions as amended from time to time (“Singtel hi! Terms”).

2) For $15 hi! Plan and Tourist SIM terms and conditions, click here.

The second "here" refers to:

1. About these Specific Prepaid Mobile Terms and Conditions

1.1 These Specific Pre-paid Mobile Terms and Conditions ('Prepaid Mobile Terms') apply to customers who have purchased our pre-paid mobile services, and sets out all our pre-paid mobile services ('Prepaid Mobile Services'). For the avoidance of doubt, these Prepaid Mobile Terms do not apply to:

(a) our Postpaid Mobile Services, which are governed by separate terms and conditions found at www.singtel.com/postpaid-mobile-terms; and

(b) enterprise customers, which are governed by separate terms and conditions found in their relevant service agreements.

Please note that promotional terms and conditions for short-term promotions regarding Prepaid Mobile Services may be found on the relevant product pages instead of in these Prepaid Mobile Terms.

Right now S$12 hi! plan seems to be a 4G only plan, but I am wondering when Singtel may upgrade the plan to 5G.

Reason is that Singtel Prepaid plans are kind of moving to 5G as the customers can get free 5G+ SIM Card and then top up 5G data, including normal "5G+" and the more advanced "5G+ Enhanced".

Of course you can argue that 5G+ top-up for Singtel prepaid will not be that cheap.

$15 plan not attractive. Dont have roaming to North/East asias countries.

Zym Mobile does cater to these countries for their $15 plan.

Nah....

Nah....

The S$15 5G SIM Card option is a prepaid service, so it is not meant to compete with SIMBA, Eight, M1 Maxx or Singtel MVNOs like Zero1/Zym/VIVIFI/CMlink.

The data and roaming bundle are only valid for 28 days. After 28 days, you can choose not to purchase any data plan. The SIM Card validity is 90 days, and you can extend the validity with the S$3 IDD pack trick for another 180 days.

Of course the user can also choose to buy the data plan after the initial 28 days.

Two options: S$15 5G option or S$8 4G option (SIM card should be 5G ready so the user can go with 5G data plan later).

Terms and conditions are different between the S$15 and S$12 plan.

For $12 and $5 hi! Plan terms and conditions, click here. (PostPaid)

For $15 hi! Plan and Tourist SIM terms and conditions, click here. (PrePaid).

The S$12 monthly Singtel hi! plan (or S$10 port-in) is kind of heya replacement (postpaid plan, 4G only).

But I expect it to get free 5G boost to compete with M1 Maxx S$10 5G plan. Edit: M1 Maxx has removed 5G from the S$10 Maxx plan for new sign-up.

Both have Base Plan (heya has base plan as well).

Thanks.

For others, the above APN setting guide is from Singtel hi! plan FAQ.

https://cdn1.singteldigital.com/con...ts-services/mobile/hi/pdf/singtel-hi-faqs.pdf

Please note that the following content is only applicable to Singtel hi! customers, not Singtel hi! Prepaid customers.

1. How do I sign up for Singtel hi! Plan?

To get a hi! plan, you’ll need to fulfil these requirements:
• Be 16 years or older
• Have a Singpass account or any of the these ID documents to sign up:
- Singapore NRIC / 11B
- Employment Pass
- S Pass
- Work Permit
- Dependent Pass
- Student Pass
- Social Visit Pass

2. What is the Singtel hi! Senior Plan?

Singtel hi! Senior plan is only available to all Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, Employment and Long-Term Pass holders aged 60 years old and above. Eligibility is based on date of birth.

3. Can I transfer my existing number to Singtel hi!?

Yes. To transfer your existing number, it must be an active non-Singtel mobile line with no outstanding payments and registered under your NRIC/FIN with your telco. Your request to port-out from your existing telco must be submitted at least 7 days before your next billing cycle.

4. How do I setup the Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) on the Singtel hi! app?

Simply set up your PIN and biometrics login (FaceID) as per guide here.

5. Can I rollover my unused data, calls, and SMS?

Unused local data, calls and SMS can be rolled over if you purchase another Singtel hi! plan before the expiry.

You can rollover and have up to 400GB local data, 2000 minutes, 1000 SMS and $20 IDD value on your Singtel hi! line at any point in time.

Trying to confuse customers again really no heart...... Especially to those elderly and not so savvy customers..... Knn

Indeed.

I think they should really call the new SingTel hi! Plan something else and not to confuse people with the existing hi! Prepaid plans.

StarHub does the same bad thing, by killing the existing StarHub Prepaid cards and replace them with the new StarHub Prepaid S/M/L plans. Even with the "Prepaid" in the name, they are actually post-paid plans.
