Just did a side by side for Singtel's Senior Plan and Singtel's Hi Senior Plan.
Looks like Singtel's Hi Senior Plan is more "budget" friendly in terms of data, both local and abroad. Doesn't know whats the catch though.

Edit : Ping me if this thread is not the correct place for in this post.

5G versus 4G

SingTel S$6 senior plan: 5G, only for new sign-up for port-in only

SingTel hi! S$5 plan: 4G, better roaming features

Prefer in-store service or a physical SIM? Visit any authorised retailer to get your hi! Plan.

2) When I ported from CUniq 4G to Singtel hi! S$10 4G using eSIM, no extra cost, just paid S$10. Then I did not top up and let it fall to base plan. After another 60 days the line was terminated. (90 days validty in total for the old base plan).

3) The new base plan is even better with 180 days validity. This may needs confirmation from SingTel side.

BTW, please take note there is another Singtel hi! S$15 5G+ SIM Card and data plan which is PrePaid.

https://www.singtel.com/personal/terms/prepaid-mobile-terms

The above S$15 hi! 5G+ Prepaid SIM used to be at the same SingTel hi! website and caused a lot of confusions. Now they removed most of the things. But the bottom part has not been updated, including the FAQ.

Read full FAQ --> outdated

New to Singtel hi! from heya? View guide (still valid)

For $12 and $5 hi! Plan terms and conditions, click here. --> T&Cs updated but the desciptions needs to be updated.
For $15 hi! Plan and Tourist SIM terms and conditions, click here. --> should remove this line.

Existing user get to be upgraded to the new refresh plan

I cannot find the info but I hope that will happen. Hopefully they will get the better roaming bundle.

Not bad leh for the 5G plan

The existing SingTel h! Postpaid plans (S$10/S$12 plans and S$5 Senior plan) are all 4G plans.

The S$13/S$15 SingTel hi! Postpaid plans are new. Indeed they are not bad. Let's wait for new users to report the user experience.

Hi, do you mean the existing Prepaid HiCard users (those who have been using them for the past 10+ yeara , very old accounts) can use the money in the Main Account Balance to subscribe to this Plan?

That would be great news to many senior users.

Unfortunately NO.

You cannot even port in to SingTel hi! Postpaid line from a SingTel Prepaid Card, let alone using the SingTel Prepaid Card balance to pay.

7. Port-in Service
i. “Port-In Service” means a service provided by Singtel Mobile which allows a Customer to retain his non-Singtel Mobile postpaid mobile number by porting his line from his current mobile service provider (“Donor”) to a Singtel Mobile postpaid line. Customer consents to the release of Customer’s information to a third-party central number port service provider and/or the Donor for the purpose of activating the Port-In Service.
****

Note: as pre precious reports, the "non-SingTel Mobile postpaid" wording is not exactly correct. It should be "non-SingTel hi! postpaid". Basically you can port-in from SingTel SIM Only plans or Mobile plans with device contract, as long as your contract expires.

You can of course port-in from other providers' postpaid plans, including the MVNOs SIM Only plans.

Unfortunately many seniors are reported to have too much wallet balance in the following.
1) Prepaid card wallet balance
2) SIMBA, due to one for one top-up offer
3) eight, due to one for one top-up offer

Then they are stuck. If porting out, the wallet balance will be forfeited.

Previous report in January 2026 for reference.

Update here. Have transferred from SingTel line (non-Hi) to the $5 senior plan through the port-in process.

I had also confirmed with Hi! support chat and this is the correct process to transfer SingTel line. So the below is accurate.

Can I transfer my existing number to Singtel hi!
Yes. To transfer your existing number, it must be an active non-Singtel hi!* mobile line

Hi, for Hi! Post Paid 5G plan can I reinstall/reuse the eSIM profile multiple times (switching between phones) or do I need to request for a new eSIM profile everything when I need to switch phone? Thanks.

No clear documentation from SingTel hi! Website. You may have to ask through the app chat.

I tend to believe you don't need to request a new eSIM profile but please confirm with SingTel.

****** For Reference Only ****
For normal Singtel postpaid plans, the following applies.

https://www.singtel.com/personal/support/mobile-postpaid/esim

How do I transfer my eSIM to another device?
1. Delete eSIM from your current device.
On iOS, go to Settings > Mobile Data. Tap on Delete eSIM.

2. On your new device, open your eSIM installation email and tap Install eSIM.

3. Follow the steps from there or find out how in our set up eSIM guide.

Thanks!
Btw the banner ads last line: "Unused data, ROAMING & IDD roll over for up to 6 months" how does that work for postpaid 5G?
Oh wait, I just realised it's the HI! Postpaid Plan thread. :s22: My bad, better check with CSO for this.
I presume its just allowing you to stack the previous month to the next only. Unlikely to stack for 6 months together but month by month instead.

As per the screenshots, it's essentially like local data that rolls over to the next month instead of being forfeited, allowing you to accumulate what you don't use to the next month.

I have been on the Singtel Hi! 4G plan for two months now, and it’s honestly one of the best I’ve used. The coverage is solid, and the 4G speeds are impressive—hitting 100–200 Mbps outdoors, which easily beats Starhub and M1 in my area. Most importantly, the roaming coverage is extensive and the data allowance is generous. As long as this plan stays around, I don't see myself needing to buy travel eSIMs anymore.
