Zero1-Contract-Feb-2026.jpg

Info can be found in the contract.

Do you have the detail of the "Free Internation Roaming Voice & SMS"? How many minutes? Any free outgoing SMS? Any free outgoing voice minutes?

Maybe it refers to free provision of service, as you see above registration fee is marked as free as well.

Incorrect. As mentioned on SingTel website, you can sign up the SingTel hi plan through the authorised retailers as listed on SingTel hi page

That is for sign-up. Other than sign-up and payment, I am not so sure if the authorized retailers can do.

I am more talking about technical support -- no hotline support, no Singtel physical shop support, for Gomo and Singtel hi! Postpaid plans.

Singtel Prepaid S$15 SIM and Montly plan --> got hotline and Singtel physical shop counter support.

Anyone port from Zym (roam $15) to Hi $12 or $15 plan? Any differences in 5g speed/latency/priority and Malaysia roaming? I'm happy with zym currently but itching to try Hi! 😄

The S$13/S$15 SingTel hi! 5G postpaid plan is new so probably very few people have tried it. I believe it will be similar to the Zym, Zero1, VIVIFI and CMLink S$15 5G plan and should not have difference in terms of priority. But you can go ahead and try it since it has no contract.

As for the S$10/S$12 4G postpaid plan, I have tried it. Even though it was better than eight 4G and CUniq 4G and SIMBA (plans I have tried), I felt any non-SIMBA 5G plan was better than it -- M1 Maxx 5G, CL 5G and StarHub Prepaid S 5G.

Based on my testing, the worst non-SIMBA 5G plan is better than the best 4G plan out there for local usage.

Assuming that you are not qualified for senior plan for this reply.

1) M1 Maxx Base plan may be the cheapest at one time cost of S$10 or S$12 (need to sign up using physical store), but there are doubts whether it will work in the future or not now that they change the terms and conditions.

Old terms and conditions (looks like stii effective)
https://www.m1.com.sg/support/critical-information-summary-nov-24

New terms and conditions.
https://www.m1.com.sg/support/critical-information-summary

2) StarHub Prepaid S plan at S$10 per month has grace period of 120 days. 80 GB data per month.

https://www.starhub.com/personal/mobile/starhub-prepaid.html

3) eight and SingTel hi! Postpaid plans have the grace period of 60 days after plan expiration.

xiaofan,
where did you find the info that SingTel hi! Postpaid plans have the grace period of 60 days after plan expiration ?

I searched the FAQ & T&C and only can find below info from url: https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/hi/hi-terms-and-conditions

Code:
2. Singtel hi! Base Plan and/or Singtel hi! Plan details are as set out below or as
may be determined by Singtel Mobile in its sole discretion.

Bundled Value SIM Validity Period
Free Incoming Calls 180 days

- Do I need to subscribe to Roaming Voice and SMS to use the services and what are the rates?

Roaming Call and SMS
Roaming Voice and SMS services are available by default when you purchase Zero1 mobile plan. These are Pay-As-You Roam services and there are no recurring monthly subscription fee or additional surcharge to use them. You will be only charged based on the Roaming Voice or SMS rates and the charges will be reflected in the current usage bill.

* Roaming Voice and SMS services are not applicable to foreigners at the moment.

Interesting. Previously it says 90 days instead of 180 days.

90 days validity : 60 days grace period

I know this because I had subscribed to the S$10 SingTel hi! Plan (port-in offer, with eSIM). I only paid the first month fee of S$10 using credit card upon sign-up. Then I removed the recurrence payment option. After 90 days from the sign-ups date the account was terminated.

Now they state 180 days SIM card validity, does that mean 150 days grace period? I tend to think it is the case.

The reason is that SingTel hi! Postpaid plans are managed by SingTel hi! Prepaid team and they have equal the perks of SingTel hi! 5G S$15 prepaid month plan and 5G S$13/S$5 postpaid plan.

I have a few SingTel hi! S$15 prepaid SIM cards and the validity is 180 days.

Never mind.

This one is useless in the context of the discussion of 10 minutes free incoming voice call provided by Zym and VIVIFI recently.

Basically no official info from Zero1 on this topic as of now.

But there are good info here.

I asked Zero1 about the Zym Roam Guard 10mins to prevent any accidental roaming calls incurred due to scam calls.

They said, the protection is already included and it's provisioned.

So meaning we are protected, just don't know for how many minutes. But I remember many months back, I hung a call while overseas, no charge

lol they no sound no picture about this. thought they would have wanted to let their customers know.

Trying to jump ship from Z1 to Singtel for my mother. There is $6 Singtel 5G+ senior plan and a $5 Hi Senior plan (4G). If by paying a dollar more, it seems to make more sense to go for the 5G+ plan. Amount of data, talk time, roaming, etc, are not issues. Both plans cover more than enough. So is it advisable to go for the $6 5G+ plan? I m a bit confused. Excuse me if this is a noob question and had been asked b4.

What kind of roaming you need?

For local usage, no brainier, just go for the S$6 5G Senior Plan.

But if you have roaming needs beyond 6GB DataRoam Monthly Malaysia provided by the SingTel SIM Only S$6 5G Senior plan (with 12 months contract, for new sign-up or port-in only), then you may consider the S$5 SingTel hi! 4G senior plan (no contract).

Actually, the GOMO $6 senior plan provides the best value. 5G, 400GB MY, 6GB APAC, 3GB Intl.

Since Singtel did not use their enhanced tag for their inhouse $6 senior plan, its safe to say that it may not have significant data prioritisation over sub brands or MVNOs.

I will still think SingTel's plain 5G+ SIM Only plans have higher priority than ST MVNOs' 5G+ SIM Only plan, based on my own testing of Zym 5G SA connection versus SingTel S$15.28 5G SA connection.

On the same Poco X7 Pro phone, occasionally Zym (on SIM 1) will lose connection and then I switched to SingTel S$15.28 plan and it would be okay. Happend three times over the past 40 days.

Then on some lifts, both would lose connection. But once I was out of the lift, Zym would take longer time to recover.

But this is just my personal experience. I would not switch my main SingTel S$15.28 line to any ST MVNOs (including Gomo 5G or SingTel hi! PostPaid 5G plan) myself.

YMMV...
