12. SIM Card waiver for re-contract user who changing to NANO SIM

Yes you can get a SIM card waiver if you talk to the billing department. Call 1688, go billing department. Tell them that you are a re-contract user and wished for a waive off the SIM activation charges.

Only can be done after you re-contract as SIM charges is charged into your monthly bill.

13. To Those who managed to receive 1-2month waiver of subscription plan. Take Note.

To those who managed to get a 1month or 2 month waiver. Be it MIO-home user or 21month-24month contract holder.

Please make sure to call the billing/retention department to tell them that you have re-contracted so that they can do the waiver.

Even though now they have a "note" in their system. It won't be automatic, you still have to call in after you re-contract.

14. Can i re-contract without getting the NANO sim?

Yes you can, at the counter purchase, you can inform the counter that you do not want the NANO sim, they would not force you to get it. If they insist you on getting the NANO sim, then tell them to waive off the activation charges and sim card fee.

15. For CIS User, Do I need to pay $50 for renew of contract?

Please call 1688 to double check on your account first, There have been members who called in and was given the answer that $50 is waived for all CIS consumers.

19. Getting an iphone 7 and 7 plus without contract

Singtel will not sell the iPhone 7 and 7 plus without contract during the launch. Non contracted phone can be purchased when announced by Singtel

20. CIS conversion

Existing postpaid standard mobile plan Customers under a Device Agreement converting to Corporate Individual Scheme price plan has a conversion fee of $80.25. Do take note to bring your original workpass as photocopied are not allowed. Thank you

21. Easy Mobile Plan sign up

Easy mobile will be able to recontract or signup at a later date online via the easy mobile website.

22. Singtel Retention Department

As singtel changed their call center method. You will now be prompt to enter your problems first and they will call you back.

The only way to reach the retention department is through the billing department using 1688. Hope you guys can get your voucher. Do not state that you wish to get voucher when entering the detail for callback.

1. When is the launch appointment date?

4. MIO Home Can i re-contract if i previously bought my iphone 6s during launch party in 2015?

Yes/No, you have to call 1688 to double confirm that you are eligible to buy the iphone 7 without paying the penalty charges. Make sure to double confirm

5. Can i do a early re-contract if my plan is have not reach 21 month (If your plan re-contract date is october/november).

Yes/No, It is possible if you call 1688 and speak to the management side to allow you to early re-contract without a penalty fee. Just try your luck.

6. Early re-contract before 21 Month

Yes, you are allow to do an early re-contract with a penalty fee of $350/$500 on top of the phone price.

7. Voucher Enquiry

please call 1688 to transfer to retention department to facilitate your request.

You can check the voucher using the Singtel App.

Click account summary>Click Singtel Voucher Record>You will be able to see your voucher inside

*If voucher was given, and Singtel App did not reflect, do not worry as in their system they may be able to see it.

Contract over 21month- For User who wish to get voucher/waiver, you can try your luck by calling 1688 and head to billing department. Ask to speak to retention department

Mio Home yearly recontract can ask for waiver instead. Do try and get the best out of it.

8. Trade-in Enquiry

Yes, highly there will be trade-in available at the launch. For trade in value, please head to https://www.singtelshop.com/mobile/index.jsf at the right side, check trade in value

9. AppleCare+

you can purchase the apple care+ at $$228 with Singtel during your purchasing of iPhone at launch or singtelshop. The new AppleCare+ Have to be bought within 60 days of your newly purchased iphone 7, if you did not buy it at the launch. your phone will have to be check by an iphone specialist(nubox/epicenter/QcD/etc) to do diagnose.

Apple introduced a service fee of S$42 for screen damage on the selected iPhone models. It also charges a flat fee of S$148 for all other damage

Prestige can call and order and deliver to home. But since Jet black is new and confirm a lot of people snatching. SingTel won't allow prestige member to book Jet Black model

Still delimma if wanna change this year, like not much for me, mostly focus on camera
