For me a 3GB data plan is just nice but for Singtel that costs $62.90. M1 only $42 and Starhub $42.90.

Im guessing there is a reason why Singtel charges so much more. Any Singtel users here can feedback if the extra premium is worth it?

Since to you it is more value, then don't complain. They claim 2GB SingTel WiFi > 1GB more data.

Oh, SingTel Circle Benefits also means you get "unlimited" data on Sundays, assuming that you always go out to enjoy your life.

U can't have the best of everything without paying. For value and good connectivity, M1 is the choice. Singtel is a premium service and if u need to join the circle, then be prepared to pay. Otherwise no need to question. Singtel is unquestionable by us. I only made IDA questioned Singtel.

Worth it or not depends on how much are you willing to spend on the coverage and speed of singtel mobile.

Wifi-calling and singtel wifi are both not applicable to starhub and m1. Singtel wifi has been free for the past years and they have been extending since it was first launched. There is no data cap for singtel wifi as of now and i'm unsure of the future. So far, it has been the same for the past years. I'm curious why lohsenglte mentioned on the 2GB singtel wifi data cap when in fact its still unlimited usage as of now.

Since you intend to sign up singtel fibre, you get another free account of singtel wifi for use on your tablet/pc. with this and your mobile, your media consumption is generally covered.

Oh ya, if you have CIS privilege with singtel, you can also join singtel circle. You get all the privileges, though u would not enjoy the bundled discount on subscription fee on top of your CIS discount, but your other lines do.. I used to have this arrangement until i decided to drop singtel tv and exit the circle.

bottom line, its not about the cost of the price plan but rather to me, its the pricing vs performance. I would have gone for M1 if they were to offer the same performance as singtel with a cheaper plan though, but in reality you give and take, like lonelyman said.

I know it is unlimited as of now, but the official advertisements always says 2GB/mth, but unlimited till (date) and extend constantly.

As you said, nobody knows when it will officially end. Could it be during the handset contract, could it be the next handset contract, or even later? Nobody knows what the advertising team is thinking.

Oh, speaking about SingTel Broadband customers able to use SingTel WiFi. In that case, even if you're not using SingTel Mobile, just use the broadband ID to register for your phone. Can still use SingTel WiFi.

Tablets/Laptops people rarely bring out to public spaces to use, and most would have subscribed to some form of Mobile Broadband if they planned to make it "mobile" and use whenever and wherever they go.

I'll be glad to share with you the experience I have with singtel and that I hope it helps you to make a decision, be it staying with m1 or coming to singtel.

Unlike someone who goes all the way out to compare pricing and make m1 looks like the best..

That's true. Building's facilities management should be notified so that telcos can come in to make the indoor coverage better..

Did you test on SingTel Mobile that if the same problem exist? It could actually be building owners don't allow base station site installation and caused everyone to not have service.

there are other add-ons that i find relevant for my life .. like singtel music and singtel wifi.

i used to subscribe to spotify premium directly, now with singtel, save $2 per month n no data consumption when streaming music (useful when searching for a song i heard over the radio play in cafe/restaurants).

singtel wifi also useful at the mrt stations i frequent while waiting for friends to arrive. a little bit here n there can save a substantial amt of data in the long run.

so far coverage and speed are good outdoors.

well maybe u can google for singtel wifi as their coverage is almost all parts of SG (where the locations is normally base on most public places, but please do not think that they can cover u some building basement.)

That's true. I have both singtel music for Spotify and singtel newsstand for straits times. It's cheaper comparing to subscribing directly from vendor for the newspaper..

i think they reach 1,000 hotspots a few months ago or something. a gradual increase la, need to get approval to setup in buildings and train stations.

Im in Sengkang & based on their website nothing in SK or Punggol, not even the bigger malls like Compass One & Waterway Point.

Seng Kang and Punggol Mrt have Singtel Wi-Fi, including McDonalds at Rivervale mall.

I used it quite frequently and most of the major areas I visit already have Singtel Wi-Fi deployed
