As above, i lost my sim card and requested new sim card from singtel.

received the new sim card and activated. now it can send out msg and do phonecall only.

for watever reasons, it cant receive sms, cant receive call and no data.

have call helpline and even went to singtel customer service counter. they troubleshoot and even change new sim card and try it on other phones...it still the same.

bros here any advice or face similar problem before? any solution?

helppp:(

tested on several phone. same issue..apparently singtel itself dont know whats the problem.

they change sim card..try other phones....so the only possibility shud be the number itself right?

dont have. just one only....:(

I asked because it is somewhat behaving like a multi-sim non primary card i.e. can make call and send SMS but cannot receive call and receive SMS.

The only difference from your scenario is the non primary card can have data. The data could be some setting issue though.

Anyway, you may want to try to set the sim card to primary - Dial *141# and press send.

That is what I meant by same number.
I think very likely they need to do something at their end.
I am on multi-sim with same number for both sim.
I vaguely recall something like if I lose one of my SIM, it is more troublesome.

try calling 1688 technical support, mobile section. they should be able to help you by doing a line reset.

since you are not on mobile share, the matter simplifies alot already. My guess is that some configuration might have gone wrong when they registered your new sim card to your account considering you have suspended your account..

i did called 1688 and they resetted the line twice. and now it still the same.

i argued with them telling them its their end that have the problem and asking them really check their system and do a clean reset..they even suggest if all fails..backup and reset my phone:s22:

haish..jin suay..

you might wanna try resetting network settings on your phone? android and iOS will have this option.

If all things fail, maybe need to change sim card again..
