I link as yours but my phone still get the step reading from Fit instead of Garmin.

tbh idk what's happening now actually. the steps recorded via the stepup app is showing a different count from my garmin connect, which is connected to MyFitnessPal... which is connected to google fit.

really dunno what the heck is going on.

Google Fit should be aggregating all steps from different sources and then stepup will sync from it. Google fit should have its own algo to process and calculate the steps

If yours is an android phone, I believe Singtel StepUp is programmed to read from GoogleFit by default. Maybe u can consider ‘switching off’ your googlefit

I think singtel stepup can only use Google fit for Android. There is no setting to select other trackers eg Samsung health.

FItnesspal is not working for me. It is not sychronising the steps from Garmin connect to Google fit.

are you saying that google fit tracks my steps via the phone directly without my existing garmin connect (which tracks my steps via my smart watch)?

in that case, i'll have to carry my phone everywhere... which defeats the point of me having a smart watch :(

As long as can sync garmin with Google Fit, should be able to sync to stepup.

i heard the initial phase of the programme will only sync with apple health and google fit. google fit is an outdated platform already.

android users with stepup will use the phone as a tracker and will later on open up to sync with wearables at a later date, from what i heard..

Just received the email to redeem the tickets, but it's only valid for 2 weeks! Means, we die die have to watch a movie within the 2 weeks it seems.

Can only buy the tickets online and have to pay $1.50 convenience fee for that. So after deduct $3 still have to pay $12 for ticket. Waste time.

Exactly. It's quite a scam.
