Something to add, if you do not have IPSec passthrough on your router at home, WIFI Calling is not going to work even if you enable it on yor phone. That is the protocol which is needed for WIFI Calling.
For wifi calling probably IPSec passthrough support on the router is not required.

I have observed wifi calling using only UDP 500/4500, which can be handled as normal connections.
In any case those involved all mentioned that it was working for them previously.

FWIW, a single data point.

before i ported out from singtel postpaid, it worked when wifi was enabled, whether home or overseas. Nothing Phone 2

i forgot to add, my home broadband is m1 (500Mbps, if it matters), using RT-AX88U.
didn't change any setting to enable/disable ipsec (have not checked the default setting)

Just checked, IPSec Passthrough is on by default on my router.
But no WIFI-Calling on my ST 5G plan.

Thought it was only me with my WIFI issue, seems like this is not the case from this thread's sharing.
Realised it's been missing for a while, just cannot recall when did it exactly started.

All Router and Phone settings remain unchanged. It just stopped working one fine day and never work again. Tried wifi in office and residentials (all 5Ghz band) also does not work.

Contacted Singtel and they reset my network from their end, no results. Singtel decided to ‘tai chi’ to Apple.

Maybe Singtel felt they have the best coverage for 4G and 5G and there is little reason to continue to offer wifi calling. ;)

Wifi calling hasn't been working since start of April 2025 afaik.

I usually enable aeroplane mode at home to force enable wifi calling, but noticed it wasn't working at least 2 to 3 weeks back.

No changes to my setup.

I checked with Singtel again, but no update from them yet. Looks like this issue is happening for everyone, not just me. And from the various reports, looks like this started around March/early April time.

For my single 4G line, it is still working though. Anyone who has a 4G plan who can test this?

Just verified on my 4G line and it's showing VoWIFI.

Actually this coincides with me recontracting my phone plan from the $35 5G sim only plan to the $15 5G recontract offer.

Odd.

From the various sharing, seems like none got it working on their 5G plans.
4G seems to be still working.

No wonder never see Singtel Wifi calling for quite sometime. Hope Singtel can also enable 5G VoNR by this year, an upgrade over VoLTE.
