Singtel Wifi calling

Singtel cellular profile on recent versions of iOS is set to prefer cellular connection if the signal strength is good. cellular signal need to be really poor before your phone will establish a tunnel back to their ePDG over wifi (wifi calling).

forgot to include this key point. my residence has really crappy cellular signal. almost a blind spot for red green and orange.

However I get wifi calling triggered even when my cellular signal is full strength... humm....

Same here. It was working for a brief moment in mid May 2025 when this tread got some updates.. Now totally stopped working. Even in Singtel based WiFi also not working. Never see "Singtel Wi-Fi Calling" for 3 weeks liao.

Give up on this liao, likely Singtel issue which they need to fix.

I suspect ST is still tinking with the config and setup. I will say hit and miss for the past two weeks.
But today wifi calling is active and for kicks.. i just rebooted my iphone and it connects to wifi calling 1-2 mins after booting up automatically. YMMV

I am on other telco, I never really seen the WiFi calling until I am on voice calls.

So far for me the most reliable wifi calling has been Simba.
eight is also on and off.

I can see Singtel WiFi calling working here in Singapore, with my Poco X7 Pro and the S$15.28 per month Singtel SIM Only Plan, if I choose to prefer WiFi than Mobile Network.

VoWiFi seems to work for my Poco X7 Pro.

Tested with a phone call with Data disabled.

The question is whether it works overseas or not.

Used to work IIRC. That was quite a while ago.

Let's see if anyone has more recent experience to share.
That is an important point IMO.

If WiFi calling works overseas, does it mean no need to pay for mobile data roaming if only need to call back to Singapore?

For SMS & voice call with SG, yea no need to pay for roaming charges.
Data roaming would be another matter since usually that is consumed for something else.

I can only confirm from Singtel apple ios's wifi calling. Does NOT work overseas. Never ever seen it work overseas. Frequent traveller here. I even tried vpn back into a SG ip. Also tried enabling/disabling wi-fi calling location service under system services. No go.

Wifi calling has been working well for me locally since Aug and more so after update to ios26. home/office wifi .. even wireless@sg at the local hawker(was very bored while queuing).. all work well.. wifi calling will trigger automatically.

No idea about Vowifi on android.

it should work if you are connecting from a SG IP.
