his heli-assault badge looks abit different, could be advanced

overseas diving and another possible adv heli-assault?

above is 2013 NDP PRSM and below is PC. that is the same badge and its a US EOD badge.

maybe the ranger tab too fat to be placed in that tiny gap above the formation badge?

i got see before sapper tab they also put on the pocket sleeve instead of the right sleeve.

i suspect saf got some guideline saying any tabs that goes on the right sleeve will be placed on the pocket sleeve instead.

imagine if you have us ranger and sapper tab, how you going to fit them into the right sleeve?

Have always wondered why they restrict to 3 badges on the chest. If the guy got 6 local badges then how? Can only choose 3 to put?

guess three of the highest 'priority' will be placed on the chest..

nope, this year not going coz of other commitments... but I have worked with the PC and RSM as they were last year's reserves. all the best to them!!

I have seen it quite often, anyway the beret backing is for anyone in the guards formation, even the MT line people has it.

yup, very rare, but he's not the first Commando to wear the backing.

I'd seen another (former) ADF RSM, he also from Commandos and also wore the backing. Recently we also had another Commando become CO 1 GDS, never saw him with beret, but should have the backing too. Interesting lah, who said Commandos and Guards cannot co-exist
