Actually , prefers SOBF as shorter waiting time even it's ex than BTO .
CPF enough to pay all for 2 RM .( 140 K )

But if too many ppl go for SOBF and only a few units available , then go for BTO.

In summary , i hope to get a roof within this year .

4? Haaaa. The more I hear abt ppl failing multiple times, the more I lose hope on BTO/SOBF.

Its easier to get a unit if you're not picky about the location
Non mature areaa like sembawang, canberra always have low application rates

But if you looking for prime location then tough luck
Resale is an option too, considering you can get up to 50k grant which is much more than what you can get for a mature BTO

Sadly, I'm abit picky abt location. I mean, come on, it's a place I plan to live in for the next 50yrs or so. Besides, my parents are not young so I'd prefer to be nearer to them so it's easier to lookout for their needs.
With the past 2 failures and seeing high demand for the areas I'm going for, it's very likely I'll go for resale if I can't settle on SOBF by early 2017.

Higher usually if compared to those BTO initial launch..

By how much, only HDB knows how it's priced at..

usually higher. you'll be paying a higher price than your neighbours. iirc kallang trivista about 150-250k more

yes iirc.. SOBF is expensive then BTO, think is about 20% more if i not wrong. but confirm is cheaper then resale, cos of the shorting time of waiting and some of keys ready or some unit like 70 to 90% are already ready or repo units.. BTO need to wait for 3 to 4 years depends on the bto schdule project..
