how to use the QR code to withdraw from the socash ATM?

I have a socash ATM at my shengshiong, but it doesn't appear on my apps. the apps only show nearby partners' shops.

edit: cannot use the scan and pay method. must use direct internet banking.

The merchants receive cash and want to get rid of them. The banks don’t want to fill ATMs and maintain them.

Win-win-win for everyone

any idea how socash earn their money?

charging the merchant a fee, for transferring the money from cash to their bank account?

The banks pay socash so that banks can reduce atm usage.

ATM is quite high cost for banks now.

How did u rest your own?
I had called DBS CS to rest my token on their end before. The physical token will obsolete soon.
The UOB token if out of sync, have to get a new one from their branch.

I reset my digital token via DBS mobile app

- bottom panel right, "More"
- scroll down, "Manage digital token"
- "deactivate"

Then i reactivate again..
By activating it'll require u to wait for 12 hours before start functioning.

But each time it doesn't work properly until i call in to get DBS cs to reset it for me

Physical token cannot be reset. So long it is tie to your acc it should work fine.

I see.

I thought NETS already tied up with merchant to draw money from then.

anyway, does drawing money from the socash ATM qualify for the cashback?

There is no socash ATM, at least I haven’t seen one.

Socash utilizes cash from merchants.

Socash give incentives to withdraw other than ATM, it is a build on of NETS point withdrawal.

You referring to Sheng Siong $TM? can get 1.5% if using OCBC PayAnyone

Was NETS cash withdrawal a wide-spread thing before?

I remembered you can withdraw cash from Fairprice for a while.

yes, the $TM machine. does the cash back only qualify with OCBC PayAnyone?

what about other payment method, like DBS/POSB Paynow or iBanking?

need to generate QR code, DBS scan and pay does not do that. I only OCBC Pay Anyone does that any give 1.5%.
