Anyone having connectivity issues since 10.1.1? After I updated, every time got disconnected from WiFi, my 4g won't work. Cant surf the internet. Have to reboot the phone in order to surf the net again

Updated this morning, so far so good. Went out as normal and basement too, no hangs.

This update is crap! Tried to update just now on my 6+ and the phone got bricked during the updating process. iTunes couldn't even detect my phone when I tried the recovery mode.

Luckily I've got Applecare+: called up Apple Customer Service. They'll send me my replacement 6+ for $63. Not totally free but that's better than having to pay over $400 for a replacement phone.

Why would you be charged if upgrading their software brick your iPhone 6+? We only need to pay if its own mistake, right? You should claim loss of use from them.

Well, apparently they changed the rules..... I didn't know until the Apple customer service guy told me.

There's actually steps to resolve this issue right? I experienced this when installed iOS 10.0. Eventually got it to work.

iTunes couldn't even detect my phone in recovery mode - this means hardware failure, not software issues.

it's possibly some rogue app draining cpu cycles...

yup, using windows...

I uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes, same result. Even tested on my son's PC - also can't detect my iPhone on his iTunes.

How can update iOS result in hardware failure

Well, the Apple CS rep on the line said it was hardware failure since iTunes on both my laptop & my son's PC couldn't detect my phone in recovery mode.
