Absolutely should update without any slightest doubt. I could see the difference in 11.2 vs 11.1.2 in terms of smoother animation and stability. 11.2 is finally looking like the better version for iOS 11.

Dear all,

Gotten my iphone X yesterday, checked it's on 11.1.2. Should I perform the upgrade to 11.2? Any major issues faced by X users here from 11.2?

Much appreciate any feedback.

Cheers.

Stay with the same firmware. Then you can experience the power of boot loop. 😬 lost of your data. Then you won’t ask this question next time. You will know how important to go to the highest firmware when available automatically next time.

Yes, please go ahead. Generally, iPhone X do not have a problem with iOS 11.

Do you notice that your usage time continues to run after you turn off the screen?

Try taking note of your usage time --> turn off the screen for 5 mins --> turn on the screen and immediately go and look at the usage time again.

Did it increase by 1-2 mins?

Usage time on iOS is not the same as Screen On Time on Android...

Thanks all for your feedback. I had read some issues with 11.2 and more important its was a rushed rollout to quickly fix the restart loop issue, which was a bug which was affected after date flipped to Dec 2. article mentioned unless affected by the restart loop, best to not upgrd 11.2 yet. that’s y i thought came in here and see any of u folks on 11.2 in X experiencing diminishing performance like battery drain etc.

Does it mean it's normal for usage time to increase by1-2mins after screen is turned off?

Don't remember my wife's iPhone that's on 10.3.3 had this behaviour..

If you’re wearing your watch there won’t be any notifications on your phone except for incoming calls.
