Updated my iphone 8 Plus, severe battery drain issue. Draining approx 40% battery when not using phone. Background app refresh, Bluetooth, Wifi are all turned off.

No apps running still can drained battery rapidly. Done a re calibration on the battery to no avail.

y not get it checked at e  Store? diagnostics is free. or have u tried Airplane Mode? same drain happens? if no it could be a busted cellular modem.

All my devices updated this morning, only less than 100MB so it’s a quick update.

iOS 12.4.1 was to patch the 12.4 jailbreak vulnerability. And side note, 12.3 originally patched it, but in 12.4, it was being left out.
