I do not have banking heating problems. 11pm and 12pm.
Mine all the way heats up. Only middle of no where 1 of the update fixed it, then broke again after that...

got a feeling is to do with some of the difference smaller hardwares they used inside the iphone 12PM. maybe...

StandChart banking app is fine though. Only posb/DBS and UOB ones are heating up the phone. Most likely these 2 apps are either polling for something or wasting CPU cycles.

Not going to factor reset because of 2 apps. It will take a long time for me to reinstall all the apps even from backups. I believe itunes backup no longer backup apps right?

iTunes backup: everything will be there
iCloud backup: time needed to download the apps

no issue for my 12 mini. wifi is stable up to the point when on/off reception in my bedroom which is normal. i think u may want to try to use another router or connect to other wifi to see if is the same problem first. might not even be ur phone problem to start with..

Nope. Apps still need to be reinstall them again from App Store. iTunes 12.7 and later no longer backup AppStore the app management is removed.

You mean apps will also be backup and no need to download again from App Store? I tried backing up to pc and I still need to reinstall everything from App Store when restoring. Seems like iTunes no longer backup apps like it used to be since sometime back.

yes my bad, outdated information. my local backups take about 6-7gb so can’t possibly contain apps. only e app data is in e backup.
