No no not trolling. Legit dropped 1% despite putting in effort to maintain battery level between 30% to 80-ish %. Sigh.

Mine still at 100% health after update and I charged daily to 100% every night before sleep regardless of how much battery left.

I am not too sure. All my iPhones for the past years, above is my charging habits. So far, when I sold my iPhones to change to the latest model after 1 year, the battery health is at 100% and none had drop below 100%.

Yes, 15.4 able to unlock with mask on without the watch. Watch for it to release, maybe some time in March.

15.4 Public Beta 1 is stable af (I would even say it's the most stable iOS 15 version so far lol, perhaps because they finally fixed the 120Hz)

Bloomberg recently reported that Apple is currently targeting a release of iOS 15.4 for sometime in the first half of March. This lines up with reports that Apple is planning to hold a virtual event on March 8 to announce a new iPhone SE as well as a refreshed iPad Air.

Point releases don't drop phone support so as long as your phone can update to iOS 15 (6s and up), it can update to 15.4

if you have iPhone8, no need faceID, just use the touchID , but if you have iphone X, Xs, 11, likely not supported.
