Bad news my update on iTunes went wrong and now phone is dead. Can't detect on iTunes due to all the crap USB driver errors.
Need to find another PC to restore.

Updating iOS is like hit or miss nowadays.

Download from itunes then only install.. Don't do 'download and install'. I got some issue with 'download and install' thingy...

wifi issue is still there. I compared between iPad mini retina (iOS 7.1.2) with my 5s (iOS 8.0.2). On pings to same addresses e 5s always has much more latency n sometimes drops packets.

running 5ghz wifi at home.
