I also couldn't connect to 4G after update. tried reset network settings also no go. toggling 4G off n on again worked for me. as for wifi, latency has improved though not as low as iOS 7. most importantly no more dropped packets. yay!

Yup, 4G is back for all of my household devices too. Didn't have to reset network settings or toggle data on and off. Noticed that the carrier version is the same as well. Seems like it just fixed itself lol

Not sure if it's just me, but I feel that this update sped up the performance of my iphone 6 which was quite a surprise to me too. Everything just feels super snappy and stable. Finally that "Apple product" feeling is back!

Interface feels smoother on my 6 plus too

This the real ios 8 meant for public release. Previous version released too early, rushed out for iPhone 6 launch. Apple really botched it. With 8.1 even my iPad 3 feels smoother. No more lag in safari.

Change log says there an option to choose your cellular network between 2G/3G/LTE, but seems like there's none for me. Anyone knows where to find it? Telco related setting?
