now only following omniscient reader's viewpoint.. Tower of god at the verge of dropping..

early on he bungles thru things thru brute force (items/gadgets). later he met his master and start becoming truly op. not like the usual i know everything, take everything genre. orv is nice too.

moonlight sculptor is a good balance of not being too op in the beginning.......

you got find korean formula a bit too emphasized of "being cool"...
from kpop, drama to their manhwa.....
that "gotta be cool even if need to fake it" vibe sometimes is jus too overbearing

Japanese anime always got these kind of overpowered MC fantasy lar.. especially with all the Isekai anime...

solo leveling is korean, all these isekai stuff already bored of it like 5 years ago, dunno why the japs so caught up with it

I also find this anime one-dimensional, too blunt and boring. The fighting also not say very interesting. Lore and story very generic too. Is basically like one of those generic anime like those isekais i keep seeing churned out now. I dont like too cheesy romance also but i hoping to see at least the main char show the slightest bit of acknowledgement for the girl lol.

Liveaction don't bother watching. Can't even stick to the og source.

Japan anime saturated with 🗑 isekai over the years and reuse high-school romance. Big names like AoT, Naruto, etc. ended or at final stretch. Haven't been following any manga for years due to slow progression of weekly plot to milk money and crackdown.

Korean manhwa getting imported to webtoon/tapas and adapted to kdramas and animes. Adaptation can be good or 🗑. Solo Leveling for now is good while look at Tower of God or how they butcher God of Highschool. Their romance writing cmi either FL sudden attraction then disappear till the end for happy ending . Though I'm looking forward to Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint, Novel's Extra and Trash of the Count getting adapted.

For female side is typical toxic relationships with male leads in medieval setting or have magic powers, cult, etc. Other type that got popular recently is growth type where main character either raising novel's protagonist/villain or they transmigrated into some book with system and forced to follow plot. Their tragedy genre are written better where in the end no one wins.

For Chinese adaptation is either those top webnovels written by the same group of authors the past decade or xianxia or xiuzhen harem slop. Have some well-animated 2d and 2.5 series or cheap moving panels.
