I viewed a video from BBC on fertility and birth rates suddenly realised a solution for Singapore to tackle our fertility issues and rapidly aging population! People below 40 now need to have much more children than their parent’s generation and grandparents’ generation and that will reverse the trend!!

Give birth is only a short term solution.
If today ppl make many babies, when they grow old we will need even more babies to cover the old ppl. It's a vicious cycle.

The long term solution is for every generation to make more babies then their parents generation example !! 😅
  1. Grandparents 7 to 9 kids
  2. Parents 2 to 4 kids
  3. Current if can 7 to 9 kids
  4. Children 10 to 12 kids
  5. Grandchildren 13 to 15 kids
This will solve the solution long term for many decades into the future.

Can I ask why from the 1950s to 2010s there is no issue of rapidly aging population because of more elderly living longer?

if we reduce population, then no TFR issue.

less population = less costs = less hdb = less taxes = reduced price = less traffic jam = lower COE = lower healthcare costs = less doctors = less hospitals = less burden = no need medisave top up
