Y r u getting a k suffix processor with that mobo?

R u going to overclock?
If yes, that mobo don't support overclocking and u will need a better 3rd party cooler.

We need information on ur current psu wattage and the brand, so that we know whether the psu can support those new components.

Your cpu+mobo still good, dun see the need to change it...

At most change gpu, psu and case...

Can try for Zotac 760 AMP!, Superflower HX600w / Seasonic G650w, Fractal Design Arc Midi r2... Shld be within $1k.. How much is your voucher, like $20?

Which mobo u using? Cant google for that model... Did you type correctly?

Im using an AcBel 700w PSU and im upgrading from an i7-3770k with a motherboard PB8Z77 -M Pro

It will be even more super regretful to spend another $1K knowing later your Core i7 is already better than any of the Core i5 you are going to spend on. :s22:

What's your current GPU btw?

Capitaland mall voucher can be used at so many malls... Plaza Sing and ION orchard are some of them.... Don't force yourself to spend for the sake of spending at Funan... Funan hardware parts prices are pretty much marked up by a lot....

700w is more than enough. problem is whether is it at least 80+ bronze and how old is it. Those low-end not-so-well-known brands may kaput in few years or even mths time... Better to invest in a quality psu.

Well other than purchasing PC parts, you can well spend your $1K worth of vouchers on other like consumer durables, fine dining, movie treats, etc.. No need to spend all on PC parts alone...

Well you can try looking at any custom cooled R9-290 around $500 mark... And spend the remaining on food...
