Well other than purchasing PC parts, you can well spend your $1K worth of vouchers on other like consumer durables, fine dining, movie treats, etc.. No need to spend all on PC parts alone...
True i have $1k worth of vouchers, But that is my dad's my mom has another $1k so apparently my dad gave me the entire 1k to spend on my pc for food clothes and other stuffs my mom would be using the other 1k

Use your capitaland vouchers for grocery shopping, makan??? Need not be PC components...

You can head down to SLS to get ur parts. Can even bargain.

I wish i could go and buy for SLS but! i dont have enough cash and my parents dont want to give me some.. i know but its abit weird but since i have 1k voucher why not just use it since it is gonna be free of charge

You are gonna get chopped real bad... They will mark up even more frm the RRP and sell to you. Besides, u sure the shop in Funan will accept Capitaland vouchers? I know some shops quite 'niao', wun accept such stuff...

What is your casing brand and model?

A i7-3770k is even better than a i5 4670k, it is waste of $$$ to change.

The only thing to change is your GPU. Changing your GPU makes alot of difference.

I remember Funan has some shops that still sells LGA1155 socket Mobo but the price is 1.1 times or more expensive than Sim Lim Square.

Don't spend too much on a mobo, get a z77 board (Anything below $200).

Do measure the maximum length for GPU that the casing can support before buying a graphic card.

Just ask those shop keeper in Funan if they provide hardware replacement service. Alternatively you can always go SLS after buying parts from Funan with your capital voucher.

Lastly, ask if they accept capital voucher first before proceeding.

Hmmm thanks bro! Btw what LGA1155 sockets mobo brands do you recommend? Gigabyte? Asus? Do they still have Maximus(Hero/Gene/Ranger) LGA 1155?

To me, brand is not important. The important thing is the features that you require, built quality and pricing. I'll never go for ASUS cause its slightly overprice when other manufacturing brands like ASROCK prouduce something with similar features but at a lower price.

Don't get a mobo with 3 or 4 pci-e x16 slot but you end up using one slot, it is a big waste of money. Get something that is just enough for your need.

I recommend Gigabyte.

Ever since I put that in my mum's 24/7 rig in Malaysoa, I never receive any call complaining the pc hang whatsoever. I have also never opened up the chassi when I visit her once in a blue moon. That's has been going on for > 1.5 year now... it's just so boring & super reliable....

They offered me Gtx 780 DCU for $779 and one more offered me Asus Gtx 780 Strix OC 6gb for $999 so which one should i get? and i decided not to up my mobo and cpu as i really think its wasted if i change my cpu for a lousier one and for mobo wise i could use cash and buy from SLS as tradepac still sells socket 1155 mobos! So i just need advice on which one to get

If u really wanna waste ur capitaland vouchers like that, then :s22::s22::s22: You should ask more shops. The whole of funan would be good... lol... Make a list of shops vs price for certain items. Then, can tell which is cheaper. 2 isnt enough for comparison.

And for the 780, what games r u playing? I highly doubt u will need the Strix 6gb.. Can presume your monitor is 1080p 60hz?

So you are advising me to just get the gtx 780 DCU? Does anyone know roughly how much 780ti is worth in funan?

Get any 780 which you like 3gb will do

save your $$$ even 770 can almost max any game on 1080p 780 already overkill.
