BTW how do you all take care of the hygiene of the earpads? Just

1) Use a wet cloth to wipe
2) Use a wet cloth with soap solution
3) Use alcohol wipe

Thanks

depends on the material
for me i wipe down after use with dry tissue and let it air a bit before keeping.
every once in a while will wipe with wet tissue

Also before using the headphones i would wipe the face and ears with wet tissue.

Don't use alcohol as the earpad will start to peel off due to the chemical.
Best just use a wet cloth and wipe will do.
In the past I use Alchohol for my other Sony headphone, MDR-1A
ended paying the price of it.

Paid $200+ just to replace the headband and earpad after I use
alcohol to wipe.
Cheers.

If use replacement earpads will the noise cancelling be affect? It seems so as discussed below

https://www.reddit.com/r/headphones/comments/a51feb/replacement_ear_pads_for_sony_wh_1000_xm3/

According to the video below the type of replacement earpads can affect the sonic property of the earphone

If use Dekoni will the ANC be affected? To have better mids and treble which Dekoni earpad should I buy? Also, according to the reddit link above Dekoni makes M3 pads now.

Personally comfort is more important. You won't enjoy any ANC or bass whatsoever if its hot and stuffy..

Also depends on your usage. I use it mainly at home. The ANC is just for clearer sound and not really blocking out noise so changing the earpads doesn't make a lot of difference to the ANC for me

Your house is already quiet so why use ANC? I would enable ANC if I use outdoor like in MRT, shopping centres or walking along the streets etc

FYI, ANC is for blocking out outside sound. If you are outdoor you'll realize the difference with and without ANC enabled

Yup. Used it when walking to the supermarket opposite will have a great feel of the ANC. Haha. But i just prefer to enjoy it at my balcony and block the traffic noise

Bought it just now from Stereo@Plaza Singapura

Connected to my HW Mate 20x using LDAC which I couldn't do it the last time. Not sure whether it's due to my hp's firmware updates or due to firmware update on the SONY 1000XM3

ANC is great especially in Plaza Singapura, MRT and outdoor although not 100% perfect and with those touch controls I just love it. 30 hrs battery hours definitely no comment.....just superb.

Anyway listening to music for a few hours now and is very pleased with it although its treble is not high enough

Haven't try the app yet. I heard it has a EQ for better treble adjustment

use eq cannot ldac,
just use the in app or in phone eq instead

Have you tried wearing outdoor? Any sweat and are your ears warm after sometime of wearing?

Thanks

So far only tried a short walk out. Still ok. I mean, if the sun is blazing hot then no matter what it will be hot and sweat.
