Just bought a black one from Stereo Westgate today for $439!

Should be. They only showed the usual discounted 5% price on the tag. Luckily I asked if there was additional discount. Was surprised by the 20% off. Cheaper than many carousell sellers.

Any of you took public with the headphones? There's always a tickering sound on my right ear cup. More apparent on bus. I sense it's the sensor that measures movement. Doesn't happen when just walking around. Not to sure if to claim warranty that it's hard to prove when stationery

That's why it's hard to decide between this and the Bose.

But if I knew there was a 20% Black Friday discount, I would have bought the XM3 instantly

I tested both B&O H9i and the Sony M3. Tbh, the H9i has superior sound quality even after toggling the EQ on the M3. But the ANC is better on the M3. Slightly leaning towards the M3 because of the ANC (and it's cheaper too)

H9i sound signature is more focus on the upper frequency thus sometimes appear bright sounding to others. The Sony has a warmer more rounded treble with more forward bass.

Hmm, personally I like the V-Moda Crossfade 2 codex edition when I compared both at Stereo. The bass on the MX3 didn't sound very good even after adjusting my phone's EQ.

I am not sure if the sound you mentioned is the same as I am experiencing. Mine occasionally has a "knocking" sound when the bus went over a hump. Doesn't happen every time though.

While stationary, in train or walking it is fine also.

+ Can use finger gestures to pause song/video
- Sometimes doesn't connect automatically via Bluetooth (iOS and Android)
