hi guys, so i recently got a Sony 55 inch Android TV to replace my lao pok philips HDTV (it was giving lots of problems omg but that’s another story for another day!)

i wanted to use my existing soundbar and connect it via HDMI ARC. long story short: the soundbar doesn’t play any sound. the TV detects the soundbar but the HDMI ARC light on the soundbar keeps on blinking. when i used the soundbar with my previous TV, i did not connect it via HDMI ARC.

i tried disconnecting the power; shutting down and restarting, even bought new HDMI cable. tried troubleshooting and this is what i arrived at:

i am guessing that the HDMI ARC of the soundbar may be spoilt but i can’t confirm that without having another soundbar to test.

anything that i am missing to let the speaker work? thanks in advance!

Try reset for your soundbar.

Apply factory settings
You can reset this product to the default settings
programmed at the factory.
1 In AUX mode, on the remote control press
Volume-, BASS -, and TREBLE - in sequence
within three seconds.
» When the factory settings restore is
complete, the product automatically
switches off and restarts.

If still doesn't work than you may have to reset the TV as well.

hi,
not sure if anyone can help.
I just got my X9000F TV and i was trying to install the RSS player
I go setting allow 3rd party app
but all the versions (i downloaded a few) will give a parsing error when I try to install it using ES file explorer
I also tried install using the RSS player for TV version found in this thread but still will get the parsing error.
Can anyone help me with this issue?

UHD超高清 ：一寸$20
OLED超高清：一寸$40
有基本HDR補光：一寸$2.50
有進階HDR補光：一寸$5
有基本智能系統：一寸$2.50
有安卓智能系統：一寸$5

基本計算過後，睇下與相中嘅機款價差幾高，就可決定內置嘅其它主要配置如影像處理是否抵唔抵嗰個價差啦。。。新力電視廣告費高，賣貴就好似變得合理囉。。。

HDMI 2.0 - 4K

Depend on your soundbar and TV, if 4K TV best use 2.0 cable.
