Any idea how much they were selling for at SITEX? Lowest I'm seeing online is at Harvey Norman & Courts for $2,799 and wondering if they are good enough prices...

Ah u got the set I was looking at. Decided that 65 was too big and not worth the additional 1k plus over the 55 inch.

You can ask them for a lower price. At the HN JP Sony Roadshow I was quoted 2399. Lowest so far. Without any free gifts.

They have new sets for sure but the displays are all sold. Within one hour in fact. Considering that the extended warranty costs $369 and the tefal vacuum is 100+ it's a fairly good deal. Plus some wireless keyboard. If you're not too picky u can get the display 60 inch x8300f for $1999. Lower specs but u get additional 5 inches.

Courts. From my experience they don't lower the price much but prefer to throw in free stuff.

The 55x9000F had 3 display sets and all were sold out! Usually they indicate with a DS (display sold) or a Star on the price tag.

Even before the show started, people already booked the display sets. Popular models can forget abt it as sales people already pre-booked for their loyal customers.

x8300 can get for about $2200. Display sets at $1999 which is only about $200 cheaper is not really worth it unless it comes with reasonably good freebies.

X9000f 65inch new $4.6k, display set $3.8k.. $800 off for the TV which is only displayed for 4 days at the show.. Good deal.. BTW all 55inch n 65inch of these models sold out..

Even the brand new sets at $2,799 are sold out (55")?
I can get it for $2,650 on Harvey Norman website. I'll go down to their Flagship store in a bit and see what's the best deal they can give me.
