I Bought a display pic set at A Roadshow which opened its piece just today and they are going to show it until his sunday for 7 days. The warranty is 3 years.

I bought at $2399 no freebies.

The model No : Sony KD-65X8500F (65″)

Do you think this is the best price will it not get lower?

The sales person told me this model is quivalent to a Samsung model that cost 5000 plus and assured the even no electronic sale next year would match this price

Do you think he is correct. Please help.

Where's the roadshow? For a 65 inch it's not too bad. Do more that it's a IPS screen so it performs best with some ambient lighting and it's recommended not to view it in very dark rooms.

I would recommend the 60 inch X8300F. Despite the naming convention it's a better performer in most cases. And about the same price or cheaper even.

It was at the Best Denki IMM Roadshow. I dont actually watch in the dark and usually watch tv in a fully lighted room...

I bought it at 12 months 0% installment.

First time.buying from Best Denki . Do they sell cheap?

I heard someone here mentioned it and Sony uses mixture of IPS & VA Panel for it's Bravia Series.

Watch too often in dark room, may spolit our eye sight fast.
HDR enabled movies are too glaring to look at

The cut-off is 22 Jan for redemption. However, there is also a cut-off for delivery, which is 06 Jan I think.

I was at the IMM Sony Store and the folks there said that last day to do online warranty registration is 15th Jan 2019. Upon online registration of warranty, Sony will send out the redemption letter. They are unsure what is the last day to do redemption. I assume the letter will state.

Anyway, I’ll find time to go down to Sony Store at 313 Somerset (IMM Sony people say 313 is their main store) to do another clarification. Will post updates.

Any bros/sis here have received their PS4 redemption letter can also put up a note here on when is the last date to redeem. Thanks all for your time. Any feedback/infor is appreciated!
