it also cannot detect my synology initially....but after awhile, it manage to detect it. maybe need to tweak some settings on your NAS.

Hey guys, can check with you anyone even encountered a missing item
after the TV was delivered?
I just brought the W700C and the power cord is missing so
I have actually ask Sony to send me the missing item.

The initial 1st batch of Sony android tv have encountered some reboot problems and ended up most being recalled to fix with firmware update to solve the issue. Probably they missed it after repacked
It will be detected in the video player app if you are connected to the same wifi at your place. The app does not support srt file but MKV file with embedded subtitle is supported.
Have anybody tried using the USB (HDD REC) from the tv. I understand the usb will be formatted and could only be read and playback on the TV only . But then I am unable to find a REC button on the this 2015 android tv remote.
This is what I found from the sony support page. Is your the same?
Anyway I understand only sets sold in Au/NZ can record.
While watching mediacorp drama or bluray movie from player or gaming from ps3/ps4???. I don't feel any lag at all.
Very disappointed with Sonyas they do not provide any tv bracket had to buy your own plus installation not like LG or Samsung bracket and installation included.
Where did u buy from? If the shop don't offer the tv bracket and free wall mount. Y u commited?

Anybody feels that using the default remote to switch TV channels is a bit lag?
Are you using digital tuning? It may be due to your reception not at 100%. Do you mean the picture is jerky, instead of laggy?
