the form factor looks darn good for replacing redmi 1S for my mum. Plus the red looks like her HTC Wildfire that she had long ago during android 2.6.

Maybe i'll get one for myself too so two phones.

need nano sim card cutter though that is a pain in the backside.

R u still considering whether to get this phone for both u and ur mum?

I suppose the SG set is only 8 GB of internal storage as opposed to 16 GB which is available elsewhere in the world.
And I don't think the dual SIM set is available in local as well.

Yes, just a brief review:

Pros:
-Slim, very light and easy to hold despite being a 5 incher
-glossy back looks like glass but it's actually plastic!
-Phone is speedy, 2 days battery is achieved as promised. 8GB model but comes with free 32GB high speed micro SD
-Lollipop is light and doesnt lag. Some apps can be ported to SD card, but I dont recommend moving high CPU apps like games to SD card for performance impact.
-Was previously using Xperia SP, where the camera has shutter lag of 1-1.5secs. M4's camera has 0.5-0.8 secs of shutter lag. So those reviews are correct.
-Camera quality is good, though need bright lighting. but indoor image is clear.
-the bundled bluetooth headset has great bass quality and excellent sound
-Screen is bright and crisp. toned down brightness to minimum level but still can see the text clearly
-has a number of free apps like Avg pro, office suite, etc

Cons:
-Phone gets hot, way hotter than I expected, when playing games (Dungeon Keeper). Otherwise, normal temp when browsing, voice call
-Flash is laggy. using Dolphin browser + flash. My prev Xperia SP can have smooth flash playback but not this phone. maybe it'll be fixed by software update
-Graphics performance has some struggle, compared to Xperia SP, playing the same game, it's smoother in my old phone

the pros overpower the cons. I'm generally delighted about my new phone!

Naked as a fish out of water!! Fingerprint smudges all over. apparently Qoo10 doesnt sell case (well, it's very limited and expensive) nor screen protector. I went over to sim lim and they dont have accessories for this phone yet.

No choice, use first. I"m just very careful where i place the phone so it wont get scratched. The back is very glossy, looks like Z3 glass but it's actually mirror polished plastic! Great looks, love it!

Very tempted to try out white, but for me black is tried and tested so I played safe and stick to that
